I'm liking it already, will probably know for sure by tomorrow night.

Everything seems a bit busy tonight.

Yes of course you can expect it to be challenged.

But I don't expect someone to disregard my argument. They can - in their opinion - disagree, but there's a difference between disregarding something and disagreeing with something.

i detested all the housemates when they went in last time

this time i like 5 or 6. its going well, and there are a few nice 'love to hate' style characters rather than pure hatred

I loathed last years housemates except perhaps Dan so I have very very low expectations.
So far I like Maxwell.

Same here! I think the whole 'BB doesn't have any normal people in this year' argument, is not that people don't consider gay people etc... 'normal', its probably because this year, about all of the housemates are really OTT in their opinions, looks and views.
Yes, last year we did have people like Marco and Nadia who were extreame as Nadia was trying to hide her sexuality and marco was very camp (IMO) however, we did have people like Shell and possibly Dan, who I thought weren't that extreame in their views, unlike many of the housemates in this series. Although out of them all I think Roberto is the least extreame!
My favourites at the moment are Roberto and Max

I am quite disappointed in this year's housemates so far, particularly the female housemates who, with the exception of Mary, all seem to be EXACTLY the same- arrogant, shallow and obsessed with sex  The male housemates are not much better-all of them thoroughly arrogant. At least last year, there appeared to be some variation in characters. This year they all seem to be 12 clones and a witch who probably won't last very long anyway.

Of course, I am hopeful that the housemates will all seem less alike as time goes on.

Not too thrilled by the housemates to be honest - last year they just nailed it so perfectly, almost like in BB2, they won't get that this year - of that I am certain.

Everybody's behind Roberto and, I must admit, he's one of the few that I like the look of in this house. Max reminds me of an inferior Bubble though. Science looks ok too . The women are all dreadful - and Mary is the worst person that we (Ireland) have ever had on BB.

that sums it up for me too.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when their masks come off and we see the real people behind.

I think I know what the original poster meant. Normal isn't the correct word for me. Normal to me means "conventional". I don't want conventional people in there but a lot less acting and shallowness would go down well with me.

We need less hyper people in there for the true hyper people to bounce off. Putting all arrogant, loud, shallow people in there wouldn't work, some is good but more is not necessarily better.

I like a bit of intelligent debate as well as the drunk party games.

Like I said we'll see what happens when people calm down and the masks come off. Don't give up hope yet.

Jonny and Kate?! Two of the biggest tossers EVER to have been allowed into the BB house. Annoying and unfunny, the pair of them.

They ruined BB3 for me.

Where are the laid-back, level-headed... normal people?

People like BB5's Shell or Stuart, and BB3's Kate or Jonny. It seems to be filled with characters that you either love or hate, and sadly, most I really don't like or don't care about.

I only remotely like Vanessa and Anthony.

No one is normal in there, hardly anyone. It's something I've really noticed. I'm trying my hardest to keep it positive but it's really quite hard, IMO the housemate choices this year was quite poor.

The mix just isn't good enough.

We've got sluts, chavs, witches, camp and gay men, but no normal people, and that, I fear, is what could possibly be BB6's downfall... ”
