to get everyone to nominate her.....

at the moment it seems to be to be really nice, up for it, she also seems to be using a nice sunny disposition.

will this work ? i thought the best way would have been to start spitting at people.

Unfortunately, she doesn't actually understand the task. She thinks it concerns the public vote, seemingly.

But will the public vote her out for being nice?

She's playing the right strategy. Ones of these freaks is bound to get more noms than her anyway so she needs to court the public right from the start.

Yep, I think you're right. If Big Brother is really evil, they shouldn't clarify it any further. But I suspect she'll get called into the Diary Room sometime, in the next couple of days...

Even her sister (on BBLB) said Makosi didn't understand it.

They need to get her back in the dairy room and re-explain.

I think in an unbroadcasted moment, they'll slip into the straight-talking mode (the type we never see) where they'll clarify it. However long it takes. :P

yeah but if there is only two up then she's toast.

she needs to be really grotesque to stay in the house with someone like Laura about.

Maybe she just thinks she'll take her chance against whoever else gets nominated. I mean, what's the point of her making herself into the most unpopular housemate in the first week (where first impressions usually last!) if she survives - only to get nominated time and time again?

Maybe she's not as stupid as we think!

Of course, Evil Big Brother shouldn't do that

I don't believe she is stupid - I think she was overwhelmed by a mixture of not fully understanding the BB concept, and how it had been twisted in this occassion.

I don't think she's stupid, at least not yet. Maybe English isn't her best language?

Anyway, if this really is her strategy once she understands the task, then fair enough; I even think it's a good one. But it's likely that she doesn't understand it, and giving the task to someone who didn't understand it presumably was not what "evil" BB intended.

i think she understands but may have been genuinely shocked..
especially after having a quick brain scan on ?how? does she go about achieving the task..too much head-f**k

if it was me... i'd just get on with things, and do zero planning.

i thought unless she gets the most noms then she is out of the house.

i must be thicker than Mazuki.

I think she got the concept in the end. When she asked the public to vote for her, she realises that she's going to be up for eviction because she's not going to even try to get everyone else to nominate her. She would be silly to really.

ETA : I don't think she's stupid either! She was obviously pretty shocked and overwhelmed with everything that was happening.

I think the constant "Do you understand?"s from the on-duty voice of god is indicative of the signs she was giving off.
Her plea to the public not to vote her off confirmed it for me.

I actually think that would've been a better twist! As it is, I can't imagine that she'll go out of her way to make herself unpopular. Like I said, first impressions usually last - in past series most people usually stick to pretty rigid nominations for the first few weeks. She doesn't want to make herself hated this early!

She basically has a choice of pissing off the HMs or pissing off the producers. Or she could play 'stupid' and escape both fates...

Makosi will be up against a 'big character' and we all know what happens on first wek votes don't we...

I suspect she hasn't got a strategy...........

Poll:
Was her storming out of the loft an intentional blow as part of her strategy?

Or completley unrelated?

I do believe Makosi has just got herself 4 nominations.

It seems she 'delivered' just after being in the DR.
It figures :P
