Makosi's task
Juicy Bug

Just to clarify, is it whoever gets the most nominations is immune? Or only Makosi if she does?

So if Lesley or Max get the most, are they immune from the eviction?

if makosi gets the highest number of nominations
she is immune. otherwise, it's the same as usual

So Makosi is going to have to piss as many people off in the house so she gets the most votes. In which case that would save her on Friday from eviction.

But what happens if it's Makosi & someone else. The public is not going to vote seeing as Makosi is going to be staying anyway.

Personally, if it was me in that position, I would NOT follow Big Brother's instructions and I'd let myself go up for nomination. In doing that, the public would see that you'd be willing to sacrifice your place in the house for the rest of them and I think that they'd take to me and vote for someone else.

I would definitely not piss the house off until Tuesday.

the person(s) with the highest amount of noms will be immune. only makosi knows this

My question though, is if someone else gets the most nominations, does that person get immunity?

Or is this exclusive to Makosi?

It says on the official site (http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/n...story.jsp?id=8) that whoever gets the most nominations is immune... whether that's Makosi or not.

I don't think this is correct. On Friday's live show Big Brother said that the person or persons with the most nominations would be immune.

and next week when everyone still hates her, she will be up again wth no immunity

My understanding of it was:

Whoever receives the most nominations will automatically be immune from eviction this week, whether it be Makosi or anyone else or 2 or more people.

If Makosi is not the one with most nominations or part of the group of people with the most nominations then she is definitely up for eviction.

I agree, it will be hard for her to turn it around if she does a truly good job this week. The hm's often seem to be quite lazy in the first few weeks regarding nominations and often stick to at least one name unless there's a dramatic conflict or row.

I think she's doing a great job, but it's quite a tough call.

She should have just waited for before the nominations, and said "You're all grotesque pieces of trash by the way", to which they all would reply "Thanks you've made it much easier for us", and then told them why she said that afterwards.

The housemate(s)who recieves the most nominations for the first eviction (Sun for Fri) will be immune from the public vote.

Meaning that Big Brother will not read out the highest nomination-recieving person(s) on Monday when they announce the housemates up for eviction.

Did you guys/gals understand that? I'm not sure if I would.

remember, she can't tell them about this secret, not even after the noms

The housemate or housemates with the highest nomination are immune so IF Makosi and one other get 5 votes each they are both safe.

So who will then be up for eviction?

I guess the second and third highest.

Either that or they are all up for eviction apart from the highest nominated ones.

I would guess this too, however it wouldn't surprise me if the people with the least nominations were up for eviction

My understanding was:

Makosi will definitely be up for eviction unless she gets the most nominations from the other housemates.

The immunity only applies to Makosi and no other housemate. Normal rules apply to the other housemates, i.e. if they get many nominations they'll be up for eviction.

However, other posters claim that anyone can be immune from the public vote. But then who gets evicted?

I think only Makosi can be immune, because then if she does get the most nominations, she will not go up for eviction but the next 2 housemates with the 2nd and 3rd highest number of nominations will be put up for eviction.

And if she fails her task, she and the housemate with the highest number of nominations will be put up for eviction.

No, the immunity applies to the housemate or housemateS with the highest number of nominations, deffinatly.

From Digital Spy article...
Quote:
“She was also told that the housemate or housemates with the most votes in the first round of nominations - expected on Tuesday - would actually be immune from the public vote.”

It's no wonder Makosi had difficulty grasping what she had to do, when we are all having such problems understanding it even now.

Exactly, it sounds simple but we don't know how BB is going to play it.

As far as Makosi is concerned all she has to do is make sure she is the highest nominated HM so she is safe.

As for the rest of them BB hasn't really said what's going to happen, weather it's the next highest, all the rest of the HMs or as someone posted the ones who don't get nominate could go up for eviction.

The full terms and conditions haven't been explained yet.
