Orange - The end of Equity points
Had call from g/f today, Orange had contacted her re Equity, the points scheme that Orange run.
Well as its closing down in August, they phoned to offer her a completely free upgrade handset of their choice no fees at all to do this. She's happy, getting a totally cost free 8310, to replace the 3310, and she can keep the 3310 (well sell it!) She asked and they'd be contacting all current Equity collectors with the offer. Fair enough I think? AL |

I used that well when my missus was studying in Italy... I had thousands of points. I can't remember what I used them on though.
I think it was a huge pack of wine (24 bottles or something). Don't really need anything from them, so I'm not worried about the upgrade. |

Does anybody have a link to a site which details what is currently being offered by the Equity scheme?
Got a shed load of points but never used them. Cheers, Guy |

No, I have not actually phoned them try and claim my upgrade, although my partner did ask, and they did say every single Equity user would be offered an upgrade as compensation for not been able to collect the points anymore.
I will phone them myself if they don't contact my by next week!!! Although maybe they're phoning people by surname, shes a B and I'm a W.

Not Happening... :(
Have just called Orange Equity (402 Option 6) and the guy on the end of the phone said that I wan't eligible for a free upgrade.
(although he knew what I was talking about!)He also said that it was only a very few customers that would be contacted, and that they were selected by Orange, and not by the Orange Equity people. Not sure who is right about the upgrades, but it looks like I won't be getting one (I did just upgrade to a Sony z7e at the start of the year so that may have something to do with it...)Anyway - thought you might like to know Timmy |

Just had a look at whats on offer, the only thing that looks interesting is the cinema tickets, that uses just over half my points, will probaly take the rest a talk time ebbing |

Hmmm. Well I have just called Equity and it says I have 25,268 points. Strange because I had over 32,000 a few weeks ago...
For those who have managed to get a free upgrade, how many points did you have? |

Hmmm, strange that, the same happened to me, I "lost" about 500 or so points not long ago, I just put it down to me not hearing the recorded message correctly. Anyone else had the same??? Russ |
