Seriously, I can't understand how it's made it to series 6.

Whenever anything vaguely interesting happens we get a nice view of the garden. Flick back to whatever room once everything has died down, then back to the garden again when something happens. All so they can stick 'the best bits' on a DVD. Then of course there's the annoying audio muting.

It's a complete joke. Why do they even bother? I can't understand why there's so much censorship, even as late as 3am.

It's better than BB5 so far, anyway, although we can't make any serious analysis until a bit later in.

Some people watch Graham Norton ... some people watch Ant & Dec and some people watch silly soaps and believe them to be real

I don't watch any of the above .... but everyone is entitled to watch whatever they want .... without redicule

Because I switched over to see what was happening. Like I suspect a lot of people do. Only to get a nice view of some grass whenever anything worthwhile happens.

I'm trying to provoke a serious conversation here, there's no need for you people to become so defensive of your 'quality TV'.

BB1 wasn't bad, but it's become ridiculous with the amount of 'censorship'... and I use that term loosely as we all know it's just so they can stick those parts onto a DVD and charge £19.99 for it.

Don't worry, the universe isn't going to tear apart if someone has a different opinion to yours.

All we are doing is giving you our opinion of an answer for the Question you asked.

There may well be people that think the same as you but don't let it get to them.

If you really think it's Tripe why bother to watch it?

I think you'll find that one person's quality is another person's rubbish.

How nice it is to live in a world where we all have different opinions.

Well here's 4;

I assume 5 will be on the way. Or perhaps people cottoned on to what they were up to by BB4 and sales of the BB4 DVD were so poor they felt there wasn't a point in a BB5 DVD?

I don't, I gave it a chance, saw how dire it was and turned it off.

I can only assume those who actually enjoy watching it are very easily entertained.

And if the censorship can be so heavy handed at stupid times such as 3am, I hate to imagine what it's going to be like at regular times.

Fair enough, you have your opinions, but why not allow those people who watch it to enjoy it instead of insulting them? What do you watch on TV instead, then?

It's a decent point the original poster made.
As a BB fan I tried very hard to sit and watch the live coverage last night, but the ridiculous drowning out of the sound at one point - 5 times in ten minutes made it totally unenjoyable.

The big advantage of BB is having watched it for 5 minutes you realize how much better the other programs are and that there are many sad people in the UK who regard BB as entertainment in fact for a few it seems to be their whole reason for living.

Sadest of the lot are those that phone the Premium rate number to Vote.

In a time where we have "Crazy Frog" at number one, is there any wonder why the gutter trash thickos of Britain watch this dogshit programme? There is no doubt that the majority of the viewers have burberry caps/handbags/babygrows.

Will Steve give Jane a kiss? Will she show him her boobies?
Oh my goodness will there be sex on camera?? LIVE?? on TV?? This is remarkable.... cut to the garden. Wow, BAFTA award winning stuff right there.

I believe that BB did a deal with the Sun newspaper regarding a BB5 dvd.Maybe they didn't want a repeat of the BB4 dvd.Of course it back fired on them & BB5 was a sucess & the sun brought out the Offical BB5 dvd which basically was crap.

As for the part you say easily entertained. All i'm doing is just giving it a chance.

It can't bother you that much if your tuning into it at 3am

I didn't, it was the first few replies that felt they had to jump to the defense of BB ad its viewers.

It's nice to see there are a few sane people here, some of which are actually fans of the show and can admit they're going overboard with the censorship.

I still stand by my original comment; it's tripe. Because once C4 (Endemol, whoever) have muted / cut out anything worthwhile, that's what you're left with, the tripe.

And don't rule out a BB5 DVD yet, I'm sure there's plenty of time for them to release it. Or perhaps they won't because not many people will want to see Nadias wang?

My other main bugbear is STILL no live coverage when HM's are called into the Diary Room.
The viewers who put the hours in and watch day and night i.e the genuine fans- are treated like s**t by the BB producers.

Let's face it, BB is absolute rubbish. It gets worse every year and of course BB6 is the worst yet. So I am just not going to watch it this year. (And I mean that as I write).

Don't we all say that every year?

Last year I watched the housemates enter the house and was horrified to see such a bunch of weirdos. But after a while I began to take an interest and ended up enjoying it. For me, and I suspect most people, the enjoyment is in actually watching the person we hate most and can't understand why they are still in there (most recently Cameron and Michelle).

However, this year I think may be a BB too far. I've seen the 2 prime time shows but have watched hardly any live coverage. I am not drawn to any of the characters yet and dislike most of them, without focusing on any one in particular.

The idea that there is more to life than watching Big Brother is growing on me.

You seem incapable of realising that people have different tastes. Just because you don't like something - doesn't mean it is crappy. Personally I am enjoying this series and the odd characters interacting in it, more than the last few, and consequently I'm tuning in more.

I can only assume the only thing you are enjoying right now is complaining - that's sad. But if that's what you enjoy doing - why not go and complain on some forum full of BB haters rather than a fans forum?
