A woman trapped in a man's body. Every bisexual's fantasy, surely!

Ah well, each to his (or her) own. Personally I prefer my sexual partners to have more than a time share in a braincell.

Bisexuality is the next nearest.”

Have to agree with you actually. There are lots of things wrong with that article (for a start it seems to confuse homo- and bi-sexuality), and don't worry about going on - to a straight person such as yourself (i'm assuming) it must be a little annoying to be told that your sexual orientation is a social construct and that you're really something else - the same way it's offensive for bisexuals to be told they're either straight or gay. So yep, that blows my little theory apart!

I think that unintentional prejudice is the worse kind.

I am straight yes, and I am also painfully aware that sexuality and what is 'sexual' is a social construct - as a straight man it is very difficult for me to express love (non physical) for another man without it being frowned upon- which is why straight men can seem (to gay persons) rather repressed - it's cos we are!

Physically I only have eyes for the ladies, but that shouldn't mean I should not be allowed to express love for another man, yet society deems certain behaviour as 'sexual' and does not like it: notice the difference in English/Italian culture where men can kiss other men in one but not the other without raising eyebrows.

Er, I'm not sure what I'm being told that I am.

I think it's showing prejudice because it's offering an explanation, an excuse if you like, for bisexuality. If you are totally accepting of people's "choices" you don't need to offer an explanation or excuse for them.

IN school they cant teach you about sexuality, one of my teachers told me. I think thats bad cos how else will you learn? also it could make people confused about whats 'normal'. I think schools should teach about sexuality in sex ed.

it was maybe wrong to make a comment about something he did not understand but to say it had malicious intent is wrong in my opinion.

Agreed, it was ignorant but not necessarily hurtful (on purpose).
