Dan, Jaso, you know what I meant, and he probably did rim him bu we just weren't shown it. It wouldn't be the first time, or last, that he's done it.

I saw a survey somewhere that suggested that 50% of men have had a same sex sexual encounter at some point in their lives - by comparison the usual estimate is that 10% of the population is gay.”

Definitely its a continuum. Some are 100% straight, some are 100% gay, the rest are bisexual to some degree. Some bisexuals are basically gay but fancy some of the opposite sex, some are basically straight but fancy some of their own sex. Some fancy equal numbers of both sexes.

Sexuality is not and never has been the black-and-white issue that elements at both ends of the spectrum like to pretend.

I've always thought the 10% was wildly overstated - the 50% as well - but it all depends on your definitions of 'gay' and 'sexual encounter'

Ive had a lesbian boss. She was too strict and moody. She spent all her time in a lesbian club called Vanilla and was hungover 95% of the time.

It really pisses me off when minorities overcome some forms of discrimination, then forget it ever happened. Not all gay people obviously, but yes, I've had this as well.

Seeing as I am bisexual myself and am completely calm and aware of the fact that I can find both varieties of people attractive I can assure "Science" that I am not "confused" in the slightest. The only person who's confused is him. I don't think he would have had the same little whine about any bisexual housemates if they were female and he (thought) he had the choice of getting some action from them!

Exactly the reason why people should be taught about sexuality at school. Too many people seem to think that you're either one or the other.”

I have to say that I do understand where Science is coming from, although think he said it wrong.

I like many heteros know it exists but don't grasp the mindset behind it. Given that everyone is different it is near impossible to think what another is thinking.

I'm not even sure that Sci really does accept that there is such a thing as 'Bi': what he said to Kemal was "you';re not gay, you're not straight, you're confused" - he would certainly think that Kemal was confused if Kemal was saying that he was something that he (science) didnt really understand or accept.

Maybe he's learnt by now.

Some of the people in there seem amazingly un-worldly, even for 20-somethings, so if nothing else, maybe this experience will give them a little more life experience.

That is the confusion: You are first a man and act like a man does (acting like a man is not copyrighted to straight people) you can then be a straight, gay or bisexual man.”

How exactly do you 'act like a man'? Are there a set of rules to follow? If so, I never received my copy.

One who only gets turned on sexually by other men and it is that that labels me gay. (which I am)”

There have always been camp performers on tv both gay (Larry Grayson) and straight (Bruce Forsyth).
TV just happens to like camp as it is larger than life and non threatening. The only difference now is that camp performers can be open about their sexuality.
There are also many non-camp TV performers, both gay and straight. It's just not that easy to spot a non-camp gay man.

Unless you know them personally how do you know that BB 1-6 has not been littered with 'men who happen to be gay'?

I have never heard the term 'straight acting' being used as an accusation. It is usually used by gay men to describe themselves on dating websites. And I never know what it means

Most Bi's/Gay/TS's and TV's are confused and that's a known fact.

Every 19 in 20 of us are are hetrosexual, so there goes your "We are all largly bi".

And quote"I don't think he would have had the same little whine about any bisexual housemates if they were female and he (thought) he had the choice of getting some action from them"

There are 2 female bi's there I know of so far "Van and fat girl lessie" so your debate is totally irrelevent and is totally floored.

The notion that *all* bisexuals are confused is misleading. Maybe some are confused, but it is impossible to believe that every single bisexual in the world is confused. Maybe Science has had more contact with these confused bisexuals than with secure bisexuals...or more likely he is regurgitating something he has heard from a mate of his, or on TV.

Okay, no need to be rude. What I meant was, he wouldn't say it to their face.

Bullshit.

I'd like to see your source for this "fact".

Edit - BTW - "confused" about what, exactly?

If you mention anything bad about gays..its okay to moan about it
but if you mention anything about race then its "stop playing that race card".."PC gone mad"
