Earlier in the day when Big Brother started I used the link from channel4.com/bigbrother to sign myself up for a Real Super Pass/Series Pass so i could view the live coverage.

I have just clicked on live video on the C4 site by chance. I am now viewing BB through Media Player. I am paying to get it from real - am i now watching it free through the same site.

WTF is going on? HOw can this be?

You're getting what you paid for, right? So what exactly is the problem?

Yes, I've been watching it on the Real Player for the past few days. No problems at all -- unlike all the trouble that seems to be surrounding the other stream on Channel 4. Great clips of Lesley "getting them out" and all.

I'm not paying yet because there's a two week free trial - not because they've screwed up. Real did it well for the past few years so I'm sticking with what works.

Channel 4 is not using Real for this year's Big Brother it seems. They're doing it in Windows for some reason. But, Real is offering BIg Brother in their SuperPass offer, which is the same content i think (live stream, clips, etc.). You have to go to Real's website to sign up for Big Brother on SuperPass @ uk.real.com

Of course I'm a Mac user , so I'm the lowest form of life to Windows-slaves such as C4 . Too bad they have to give away the "pay" webcast streams. Sort of like acquiring canine friends by hanging a red juicy steak around your neck . Woof! Woof!
