Cant call out from vodafone mobile :(
Hey guys,
right i got a serious issue last nite round about 10pm i was going to call someone on my 902sh screen it said the call forward active message as usual then said 'Call Fail'. After about 20times of trying to call finally worked. Today (Saturday) i have been trying to call a number of different people i keep getting Call Fail. My Wap and other features all work i just cant call out and id imagine i cant call into my mobile either. I put my sim into my old Nokia 3310 and it worked fine and then put it back in my 902sh but keep getting the same error. Is my fone messed up now or is it possible vodafone are updating systems or something in Coventry which is causing the lack of calling signals ? everything works even streaming video, wap and sms i think but i havnt tried to send a txt. I cant even call Customer services i get the same error. I can call free numbers like 999 and Vodafone top up line. I would call vodafone from my housefone but its one way and i cant call out unless i have a fonecard which i dont. Please help me im pretty worried. KIIS102 |

My sister has been having the exact same problem with her vodafone PAYT phone she has a motorolla v980 and it keeps coming up call failed!. so it looks like its a problem with vodafone and not your phone mate.

Call fail.
Sounds about right for Vodafone. There's no need to worry, just change to another network - you'll be fine. |

Have you tried the following?
- Switch off the phone with the power off button. - Take the battery out and leave it out for a couple of minutes. - Replace the battery and turn the phone on. Not an ideal solution but it works with my Z1010 when it gets in one of it's moods. |

Sorry for the misunderstanding - I just meant putting the original battery back in. The steps above should clear your phones profile from your local VLR (the manual switch off), then clear out any recollection of your profile the phone has by pulling the battery.
