It's only available on o2 postpay contract not P&G ....the settings are below:
Change POP3 settings:
1. Press the Menu button (left soft key).
2. Scroll to ‘Messages’ and press select (left soft key).
3. Highlight ‘Email’ and press select (left soft key).
4. Highlight ‘Settings’ and press select (left soft key).
5. Highlight ‘Send settings’ and press select (left soft key).
6. Check that ‘Send copy to self’ has no Tick (to remove press the Navi key).
7. Check that ‘Delivery confirm’ has no Tick (to remove press the Navi key).
8. Check that ‘Read confirm’ has no Tick (to remove press the Navi key).
9. Check that ‘Priority’ is set at ‘Normal’. (Press right directional Navi key to change)
10. Check that ‘Include signature’ has no Tick (to remove press the Navi key).
11. Press Save (left softkey).
12. Highlight ‘Receive settings’ and press select (left softkey).
13. Highlight ‘Check interval’ and select ‘Not used’ by pressing right directional Navi key.
14. Highlight ‘Read reply’ and select ‘No’ by pressing right directional Navi key.
15. Highlight ‘Retrieve option’ and select ‘Headers only’ or ‘Normal’, by pressing right directional Navi key. (This is customer choice)
16. Highlight ‘Delete option’ and select ‘Immediately’ by pressing right directional Navi key.
17. Highlight ‘Reject if over’ and select ‘300 KB’ by pressing right directional Navi key.
18. Press Save (left softkey).
Create POP3 account:
19. Highlight ‘Email account’ and press select (left softkey).
20. Highlight ‘Account settings’ and press select (left softkey).
21. Highlight the next available Profile (e.g. Profile 1), then press select (left softkey).
22. Highlight ‘Account name’ and enter your/customer’s email address.
23. Ignore ‘In use’.
24. Highlight ‘User name’ and enter your/customer’s name.
25. Highlight ‘Email address’ and enter your/customer’s email address.
26. Highlight ‘SMTP server’ and enter ‘smtp.o2.co.uk’.
27. Highlight ‘SMTP port’ and enter ‘25’.
28. Check that ‘Protocol type’ is set at ‘POP3’. (Press right directional Navi key to change)
29. Highlight ‘POP3 server’ and enter server address (e.g. mail.o2.co.uk for O2 e-mail accounts), this would be supplied by your/customer’s Internet Service Provider.
30. Highlight ‘POP3 port’ and enter ‘110’.
31. Check that ‘APOP login’ has no Tick (to remove press the Navi key).
32. Highlight ‘User ID’ and enter your/customer’s full email address.
33. Highlight ‘Password’ and enter your email password.
34. Press Save (left softkey).
35. Press Back (right softkey) once.
36. Highlight ‘Current account’ and press select (left softkey).
37. Highlight the email account which has been created and press select (left softkey).
38. Press Back (right softkey) once.
39. Highlight ‘Email profile’ and press select (left softkey).
Create GPRS data account:
40. Highlight ‘Profile settings’ and press select (left softkey).
41. Highlight the next available Profile (e.g. Profile 1), then press select (left softkey).
42. Highlight ‘Profile name’ and enter ‘O2 Mobile Web’.
43. Highlight ‘APN’ and enter ‘mobile.o2.co.uk’.
44. Highlight ‘Login ID’ and enter ‘faster’.
45. Highlight ‘Password’ and enter ‘password’.
46. Highlight ‘DNS1’ and enter ‘193.113.200.200’.
47. Highlight ‘DNS2’ and enter ‘193.113.200.201’
48. Press Save (left softkey).
49. Press Back (right softkey) once.
50. Highlight ‘Current profile’ and press select (left softkey).
51. Highlight ‘O2 Mobile Web’ and press select (left softkey).
52. Press Back (left softkey) 5 times to return to the standby screen.
The POP3 Pay monthly settings are now complete.
