If you were Makosi, what would you have done different?

I just wonder if Makosi has gone the wrong way about conducting her secret mission? Her aim is to get her fellow house mates to nominate her. However, annoying people isn't the only way to do this.

If it was me, I would have spent time making it clear to other housemates that I really wanted to leave the house for some reason but that I wasn't allowed to explain. Maybe she could have said there was a huge family wedding or that her sister was 9 months pregnant. She could have done this in a way that the housemates would have had a reason to nominate her and yet she would not need to break the BB rules about discussing nominations and also remain 'friends' with the group.

Or she could have taken the high ground by coming clean about the mission and hoping Lesley gets the boot!

She should have totally ignored her probable automatic nomination. I don't think the public would evict her, if she wasn't being an annoying, gobby, idiot.

That's if it IS possible for her not to be an annoying, gobby, idiot.

If she'd given it some thought and she knows her BBs she could've spent the whole week talking about how much she's missing her family/partner/business/cat. That always wins a few 'sympathy' nominations.

A couple of choice words in private with each of the housemates about regretting her decision to enter might've done the trick too.

I'd have waited until 5 minutes before the nominations, and then slagged off each person before their name is called out to go and give their nominations. After it was over, I'd have apologised, and then cried about how hard it was, because I really love them all.

She has signed her own death warrant though. If she survives this week by getting the most nominations then she will be up for eviction the next week. Too many bridges have been burned and enemys made by her behaviour.

We shall see. I do think people like her in there, despite her acting like a spoit brat, the trouble is its funny spoilt. I want her to stay. I honestly like this lot. And think We aint seen nothing YET

I think she's doing ok, remember if she survives she has to live with the rest of the housemates. Go too far and she will only last till the next round of nominations.

When do you think she will be able to tell the rest of her housemates, after nominations are announced or eviction?

She should take all her clothes off as a form of protest and lie prone somewhere in view of almost every camera.
Around about now would be good as Im feeling a bit

I'd have totally ignored the secret mission if I were her and taken my chance with the public. Surely this would be better as one you could be yourself (which is hopefully endearing to Joe Public) and secondly you'd also win over a section of the voting public because you had defied BB.

If BB then got nastier with her she'd start getting sympathy - surely a win-win situation at this early stage?

I'm with you on this one although I don't think she's doing a bad job at the moment anyway. I'd like her to stay-she's very watchable.

I don't think it will matter if she is up for eviction, because the public know why she is acting the way she is.

I don't think she'll be voted out for that reason. I'd hate to be the person/people who are up against her!

I would have done what she is doing and maybe even more so, like make sure I fail any tasks for the HMs.

If she had ignored the secret mission there is no garrantee she would be safe and she knows that, if it was her a slightly more popular house mate she would be gone, also the track record of black females in reality tv is not great. Also ignoring the mission may have resulted in a negative public reation as she did not play the game.

If she is saved she has a chance of puttng things right with the HMs they will realise it was all for survival.

I say good luck to her.

She's getting everyone annoyed at her now - not waking up to the alarm.

Good work!

Means its not personal to anyone - will not gain permanent enemies ....

...but gives everyone a reason to vote for her

I think I'd have taken my chances with the public, which would also have got one over on BB. Other than that, I'd have played the 'I want to go home' card. Give people a nice easy reason to nominate you, alienate nobody, plus next week, if you're not allowed to tell them of your task, you can just settle down and let everyone know you're okay now.

I agree with you. She is entertaining to watch and it will be good to see her explain after nominations why she was being annoying to everyone.
I like her.

But the public might not like her ignoring the task and she loses the the public vote, she has a better chance of staying in the house this way. She also makes herself more memorable and the public will know that the HMs have a false impression of her and therefor are less likely to vote her out in future evictions.

Don't you think that, if she had refused to comply, BB would have taken sanctions against her?

That's what I would do too. Then the public probably wouldn't vote you out as they know why she is there...and if she'd have been really nice and entertaining we would keep her in.

As it is, now she will be up or not, but she'll be up next week for sure as the HM's all are peed off with her now. It will take alot to get them back on side as I assume she won't be able to tell them why she was a bitch.

I am finding her entertaining (though not id she stops them getting booze as that is entertaining too) but I don't particularly like her, and I am unsure how much of all this is an act or is really her, as she was a bit like this before she realised her mission! I hated the tears over her case...it had only been 24 hours for goodness sakes.....I wear clothes for longer than that!!

Just a thought..if she does go, do they transfer the unlucky HM thing to someone else or will they have to give up on it altogether?

I'd have left it to the public vote on the basis of what happened with Michelle last year. The public won't vote people out if they think they're up for evicition unfairly

Ijust wrote this elsewhere but rather than start a new thread I'll shove it here too...

My biggest worry about all this is she is making it entertaining, but I don't like her alot. I think she should stay just for friction..but it is annoying me that she is starting to get the sympathy vote with the public and alot of TV coverage because of it all.

It reminds me a bit of Cameron and BB4. Because he got the SA swap, he had more airtime than anyone else, as we actaully had SA BB on tv for a week, and it gave him an unfair advantage I think as often more TV coverage does equal more chances to know someone.

Imagine if Sam or Anthony had gone into the diary room that first night....it would probably be equally as entertaining as they would have to do what Makosi is doing. Let's all not forget that folks when it comes to voting! (I don't mean those two..just showing an example of some who are not getting much tv time).

What i would have done is....

Go into the diary room, and come out saying if we all do such and such then big brother will give us alcahol or whatever...

then i would tell them all that i was only joking
