Housemate Max is no stranger to the Big Brother house or five's The Farm according to The Sun newspaper.

He was part of the trial run for Big Brother 5 along with Becki Seddicki and has also tested out the set of The Farm. Both shows are produced by Endemol.

Max's previous heavy involvment with Endemol has prompted suspicions that he may be a mole. DS:BB will keep you updated on mystery Max.

I thought Davina stated on launch night that there was no mole?

I was just thinking that... I don't think they would have out and out denied it if there was one - would have just avoided the subject.

If so, like moles in general, my advice is to remove it as soon as possible.

He won't be a mole. They wouldn't have put one in without letting the public know. What's the point in creating a major twist which could make headlines if nobody's going to know about it?

And remember... it says "according to The Sun newspaper". Some of the things they have printed in the past haven't turned out to be the gospel truth.

What do you mean by 'mole'? A spy? Big Brother has loads of them, they're called cameras.

Bit pointless having a mole if we don't know about it I think Maxwell could well be C4's "chosen one" though

Davina said no in the Launch and if it is true or possible they don't comment, ch4 and endemol never dismiss a rumour which could be true, and anyway I don't think it's true...

Sounds like he's an Endemol pet then, but not necessarily a mole. It'll be interesting to see how he's edited.

I think this is a typical leak the (false) story to the Sun to get the show in the headlines. It happens all the time

So far I think he's not been shown in the BEST light... but he's definately not been ripped apart by £nd£mol.

Becki of course was metaphoriacally murdered by Endemol, she didn't have a hope. So Maxwell is not neccesarily the chosen one.

Very much doubt that he is a mole but he may turn out to be this years chosen one. I expect more coverage for him over the next few shows. He will be shown continually arguing with Makosi even though Anthony, Roberto and others are doing the same. He will be shown getting close to Sam even though Anthony has already turned her down. He may not win in the end but I suspect he is here for the long haul.

Does this back up claims that Max is familiar with "reality" TV - inc. a stint on Club Reps Uncovered or somesuch abomination?

Has any BB around the world ever had a mole?

I expect it does. He does seem to have got around a bit on the "reality tv" circuit and the fact he was also in a trial run for a couple of Endemol shows tells me that producers like him a lot.

i dont think he is a mole but i have defo seen him on tv before, i think it could have been that show 'fool around with' remember PJ was on the villa before he went into the house but i have definately seen him on another show

He's definitely not being shown in a good light. Can't stand what I've seen so far.

A tad boring now

Elizabeth from BB2 had originally been a stand-by housemate for BB1 and I think Lisa from BB4 had almost got into the house for BB3 or something, I know I read she'd auditioned every year and got quite far so it doesn't seem uncommon for the programme makers to have their eyes on possible future housemates who don't quite make it when they first audition.
