How much of Makosi’s condescending and selfish attitude is down to her “Secret Mission”?

I would say less than 10%.

I hope I am wrong and we see a different side of her when the nominations are done but I don't think so. I think she is a spoilt brat who is used to getting her own way and being surrounded by sycophants. I'll bet her families servants love her!

What does everyone else think?

From seeing how different she acts in the Diary Room when she doesn't need to act, I think there will be a big change in Makosi when she doesn't have the task.

Well, I hope so at least...

She is obviously a selfish and arrogant person to undertake the task in the first place...any nice housemate would have refused and gone up for the vote...she has demonstrated she is self-centred in the diary room where she doesnt need to put on an act...her crying was cringeworthy...

...she deserves to be evicted on friday...

I think what we are seeing here is pretty close to her real self. We will know for sure soon enough i imagine.

Another thing thats intesesting is how she is being deliberatley unpleasant, but her clique, seem to think its ok. That says quite a bit about them too.

Well, she called Science a child and slagged him off quite a bit for being pissed off about the salad cream, but in the dairy room she cried over her cherry tango..

she seemed to think she somehow "deserved" it, just because she wanted it...

I think this is the real her

Well when her family were interviewed by Dermot on the BBLB launch show her sister said she was spoilt, self-centred and used to getting her own way!

I think shes a brilliant housemate. I don't particularily like her and if i was in there i would probably nominate her every week! However she brings a lot to the show and starts a lot of the fights etc. so i hope she stays.

I think she's very selfish but fascinating to watch and she's one of my favourites in the house (not that I'd want to live in the house along with her).

TBH the rest of them are probably just as selfish, but she's more open about it and I laugh out loud at some fo the things she says about herself. She really is a spoilt brat and I don't think she can differentiate to much of her true selfishness from the task at hand. That's what I find so funny.

Upsetting people doesn't seem to worry her and she actually finds it hilarious. So okay, she's got a task to do to get everyone to nominate her, but who said anything about enjoying getting on people's nerves, unless of course, it's part of her true nature.

Interesting to see how she is after this task...if she survives in the house.

Then her mission may well have benifited her, lots of the public may well be giving her the benifit of the doubt for her actions and atributing it to her mission...

If she was acting like this without a mission from big brother, she probably would have rather less fans

I disagree with most of the posts above. She was very pleasant and charming until Big Brother called her in to clarify her understanding of the secret mission thing. Her behaviour so far is consistent with somebody just getting into the spirit of the game.

We'll know for sure once the secret mission is done. I'm keeping my mind open.

I think that's been the most interesting thing to happen. I don't think there's any mystery about her, she's shown her true colours and she is vile. But she's taking people down with her, the people who've backed her up won't be so happy when they find out she's saved herself from nominations (whether she's being herself or not), and in turn put THEM up for the vote.

I wonder how Craig will be when he realises he could be up for the vote, because of her. I don't think she'll be able to win anyone's confidence or trust back after this. A lot of the arguments have happened because of her, and other people will know they've been put in a bad light, backing her up, or arguing WITH her, and so they won't think it fair if the public vote them out, because of how they reacted to her actions, and in turn she got immunity for it. Big mistake.

She's certainly hammed things up a bit, to try get the nominations, but i really do believe that she's like that anyway, to a lesser degree. She was already bossy, nasty, argumentative, refusing to listen, etc, before she even understood the task at hand.

Didn't see that BBLB unfortunately but it definately fits with my impression of her.

She is this years adele/nasty nick...she is trying to play the public and the housemates at the same time i.e. saying one thing in the diary room and another to the housemates...it will backfire dramatically and she will leave to a wave of boos and hisses...

I think it is very difficult to guess how much she is being herself. She seems very self-assured, selfish and dominant in the group this week but it may be such is just a good actress.
That said she does seem to command attention from people when she speaks which makes me think she is actually being more or less herself (albeit exaggerated for the task). Don't particulrly like her but think she makes great viewing. Next week should be interesting if she stays in.

Does anyone know the timescale on when the nominations twist will be revealed to the other housemates, if ever ?

I know she is cardiac nurse and I would assume this is with the NHS. I do not see what that has to do with her family having servants?

That is a very stupid contribution to the thread. I think we will just continue to discuss this, wether or not you approve or not.

it matters alot.If she had that mentality that she 'has to be served' do you think she could be a nurse?

I don't remember saying she 'has to be served'. What I did say is "I think she is a spoilt brat who is used to getting her own way and being surrounded by sycophants. I'll bet her families servants love her!"

Now as far as I know she could be a completely selfless person who has devoted herself to helping others by serving as a nurse but equally she could be a spoilt brat who has been forced to take a professional career by her family and hates every minute of it. Like I say I do not know so I cannot comment. I have seen how she behaves in the house and have given my opinion on it - I certainly did not state it as a fact.

it makes fascinating viewing to attempt to discern if its close to the real her, or if she is deeply immersed in the spirit of her secret mission, she is a great inmate, no doubt about it....

though the edited shows leave out her tiresome bible stories... i'm sure she'll survive a little longer in the house. i assume max will be evicted this week. all the women will nominate him.

Did people not watch, when she quite clearly stated in the diary room that the way to piss people off, was to be a me me person and interupt people and only think of herself. She is doing the part exactly as she said.

Why are people so quick to judge.

Isn't judging them one of the main points of the programme?

Indeed.

If this secret mission business is to be Makosi's downfall, it'll be because she's too good at convincing people she's a selfish so-and-so. I mean, people here who know what her mission is are still slating her for behaving in a selfish way.
