I really like the guy, and i don't think it's all bravado, of course some of it is, but i think he is genuiinely grounded within himself, and he just says and does what he wants. I think some women are afraid of him, Mary for one.

Somehow, in four short days he's managed to beat a path right to the top of my 'Most Hated Ever HM' chart. Gotta give the guy credit for that.

Maxwell comes accross to me as an 'average joe' type. and at the moment he really hasn't made a big impression on me one way or the other. As for him bragging, well that just sounds typical coming from someone of his ilk.

I don't have any problem with Maxwell being a lad, just that most of the lads I've met are very disrespectful of any culture or way of thinking that's not their own. I can't quite make up my mind whether Maxwell falls into this trap mostly because he's young or because he's just another laddish ****. Time will tell I suppose.

BTW as bad as Max is, taking the black-culture equivalent of a lad, Science is way, way, worse.

Has anyone else noticed his inability to keep his mouth closed? His lips are always slightly parted as if he's forgotton to close them after a particularly false smile. It's highly unpleasant.
