Are there too many young housemates?

Sorry if this subject has arisen before but I'm just wondering if anybody else here feels that there are too many young housemates in this year's BB house?

Perhaps it will come to light as a good thing a couple of weeks down the road but at the moment I don't feel I relate to anyone in the House (I'm 28) and therefore am not as interested as previous years.

Also the conversations I have witnessed so far seem a bit mundane. I'm not looking for 13 intellectuals (in fact I love the ditsy characters), I would just prefer a better balance in the house.

Hopefully, it's just teething problems of the first week and that as time moves on the housemates will become more than one-dimensional stereotypes!!

Derek's 40, Roberto's 32...

I realise that but it seems a fairly low ratio.

I can't put my finger on it but I really don't relate to anyone in there. We got a right motley crew last year but within days, I could pinpoint people with whom I would be comfortable hanging out with. If I was in the house this year, I'd die of lonliness and frustration.

But like I said perhaps they'll come into their own as the weeks progress

Thanks Jimmya - I had a quick peek at the thread titles and didn't see anything which I though related to my post - sorry for duplicating!!

That's true. A lot of the housemates are about 19/20 years of age and they do seem quite immature. I think there should have been a few HM's in their mid 20's.
