I was watching Big Brother the the other day, and Lesley mentioned that when she had gotten into Big Brother, she looked on the Digital Spy forum and saw posts by other people who and auditioned and failed to get into the house.

Then she had to explain what digital spy was by saying "it's like a forum about t.v and stuff".

How entertaining would any other game show be if the contestants didn't do their research beforehand? You're forgetting that this is a mature programme now. It is not the wet-behind-the-ears fluff that was BB1. It's hard, cold and calculating. BB5 changed the game forever.

Surely it's only natural to want to win, and to do some research so that you know what you're getting into!

Yes, remember in BB3, where Jonny admitted that he'd watched previous series of the show, and found that none of the other HMs had really watched it at all (or weren't prepared to admit it). He was amazed, as it seemed a perfectly reasonably thing to have done, and he was right. Just like in this thread, people accused him of being calculating.
