The BB live streaming was meant to start on NTL Broadband Plus today but is still not available. It has been advertised as 'starts Tuesday' for the last couple of days and encouraging people to sign up. Does anyone know what's going on?

NTL really does take the michael when it comes to BB fans. First of all, it refuses to offer BB interactive via the red button on E4 to its cable customers, and now, isn't even capable of providing a streaming service on time via its broadband premium content package that it's been promising for days.

I'm with NTL and the whole service is crap.

I know how you feel.

NTL always promise so much but provide very little.

Two choices:
1) Get used to it
2) Leave

TBH I'd leave them...

I called them a couple of hours ago and the guy told me that it was in the testing area, to make sure their were no problems/glitches. He went on to say if the site says it will start today, then to keep checking as it will be.

I also asked him about capping. He also said not to worry about it. If you go over the limit watching their streaming, he said they would probably take this into account. He said they also won't bother if you only go over the limit now and again at other times. He said the only people they would email to give a warning, is the people who regually go over their daily limit.

It comes own to us checking the streaming page every now and then to see if it has started. If it does can you please post in here about it, so everyone on NTL knows.

Yup, I'm disgusted with this, glad it's on a trial.. the other video content is mostly laughable, with World Cup highlights in a foreign language.. so no BB as promised has got me seriously annoyed too..

Still nothing, just a Flash movie of "coming soon" and a click that goes nowhere.

Did anyone have this streaming from NTL last year? If so what was it like?

When you click on the purple words "Watch Big Brother On Broadban Plus", it opens up 2 more windows and that says starting Tuesday.

This is an absolute joke. NTL should have been paying their staff overtime on Friday evening to get this out of their test environment and into production ready for Saturday morning at the very latest. As late as Tuesday is unacceptable but to even miss that deadline is purely cowboyesque.

I doubt it'll happen tonight now, I bet they all buggered off home at 5.30pm.

I can't even load the broadband plus page, let alone do anything with it.

because knowing ntl i will end up paying for it even if i dont get it and its all I signed up to braodband plus for.

It did that on me earlier, try exiting your browser and re-trying.

Ahh so now we know the real reason why NTl won't provide BB live via red button, they are trying to get us on Broad Band.

I've tried it again and still getting the 'Coming Soon' screen.

Did you click on the purple words and see a grey page come up, then than opens another page with all the links to the streams you can watch? When the last page came up it's under channels.

Make sure you do not have any popup blockers running.

I wonder if it doesnt start by midnight is it a breach of some kind of law ?since I signed up today on the basis that on the ntl website it said starting tuesday.

i signed up yesterday for broadband plus just for big brother.

only signed up with ntl last tuesday.. got disconnected on thursday because they were "updating it to make it run faster" and i got reconnected yesterday.

i think this is taking the pish now
