I have now had my T630 on charge for almost 12hrs and still not fully charged. I have noticed before that it’s stopped charging and then will charge again on its own or if you push the charger in a bit. Now what do I replace, the battery or the charger or both?

Personally I'd see if anyone you know has the same phone or at least uses that type of charger and try theirs first.
Failing that, take it to a shop and ask them to try it for you, they may be able to try a different battery too. Always better to try and get to the root of the problem before you start throwing dead money on a 'what if'

I'd be cheeky and try any on the high street. One is bound to help you, failing that ring your phones manufacturer customer services and ask for advice!

Thank you for your help. My phone has just finished charging after putting it on charge at 1am early this morning.

I've a T610 and have this problem now and again. It seems to be a hit or a miss whether you've got a proper connection when you plug the charger into the phone.Sometimes I have to sit it on something like a cup or something so that the connecting part of the charger is sitting on the rim,as if it's being pushed in at a bit of an angle.Don't know if that makes sense??Or try giving it a bit of a wiggle

When I notice its stopped charging I wriggle it in a little. It's a pain because I can not stay up all night watching it charge lol.

I noticed my phone kept flashing up 'charging' after a while, esp if I was using it while charging. I panicked thinking it was a fault with the phone, but a bit of twiddling later I realised it was the charger. Bought a new one from the local computer shop for £5 and all's well! I think it might have been a problem with the wires, after having it coiled (loosely) when storing. I now keep it as straight as possible to avoid kinks, and had no probs so far.
