Makosi is wonderful. I know how the Sam lovers must feel

As I have said in previous posts my initial impression about Makosi was that she was a self absorbed, self centered little Princess, I did however put that aside in my mind as I'm intelligent enough to know and understand that what we see in the audition tape is not necessarily what the person is like as they will often "Hype" themselves up in order to get the audtion and into the house in the first place. It was also quite hard to know what she was really like as she was having to "act" the bitch so that she would get the most nominations from her fellow housemates so that she could save herself from the public eviction. However, with that being said, I did think that it did seem to come to her a little too easy and that she seemed to be enjoying it just a little too much...

I will admit that she had me fooled... to a point. I was actually starting to warm to her a little even against my better judgement and gut feeling about her, as I thought it is best not to try to judge someone so harshly so quickly. However, after her bitchefest with Kemal I started to see her and think of her VERY differently, she showed her true colours there and I thought that there was no more to come, boy was I wrong ! After last night... Well, let's just say that there is no doubt whatsoever left in my mind as to what type of person she is...

I'm sure that some of you will be thinking that this is just sour grapes as my favourites have been put up for nomination, on the contrary... Personally I never particually liked Craig, I thought that he was bitchy, two faced and snidey but after last night where he spoke openely and honestly and was genuinley upset and showed what I believe to be his true self, I have nothing but the utmost respect for him now. I'm still not a huge fan of his, but I respect him.

With Mary, I have come out and posted how I like her and what I think of her, I still do think the same way, however, over the past few days I have seen a different side to her, and although I think that a lot of what she has said is true, I personally would not have not done it in the way that she is, but again I have nothing but the utmost respect for her.

Some people will say that they reacted badly to the nominations, and I would agree, at least in part... However, if it were not for Makosi completely changing her mind about the nominations and nominting both Mary and Craig for what I believe to be her own selfish reasons Craig would have not have been in the complete paranoid state that he found himself in and for that matter, nor would have Mary.

The truth of he matter that both Craig and Mary only recieved one vote each and both of those votes came from one person, Saskia, but because of Makosi changing her mind about the nominations so that she could in my opinion vote out the people that she wanted too for her own selfish reasons both of them are now questioning everyone and everything, and I do believe that the events of last night where in the most part caused by this and by her actions...

What annoys me so much is not the fact that Makosi is the person she is, but it is the fact that on the C4 edited highlights show none of her true self has been shown, it is only the viewers who have been watching the live stream that had any idea at all of what she was like or what she may have been like, but the C4 only viewers will be totally unaware of what she is like as It has been HEAVILY edited in her favour.

Point in case, she has been shown as the poor little girl who was picked on by BB, she was made the unlucky 13th housemate (Which by the way she brought on herself as she could not wait to get into the diary room, she virtually ran there because it HAD to be her) they have seen her "having" to play the part of a bitch so that she could complete her task and save herself from public eviction, they have shown a few nice little clips of her "Oscar performance" and how when she isn't having to do her task how she is oh so lovely.. So the viewers of the C4 editied highlights show are simply seeing the nice side of Makosi...

Also for her to sit there last night and to comfort both Craig and then Mary I found to be most disturbing, the way in that she acted, they way in which she self promoted herself, the way in that she showed that she was all sweeteness and light I found nothing short of disgusting. She even had the audacity to applogise for the way that she had acted, she then had the audacity to hug Craig, then later on after everything had fully calmed down and she was sat there acting as if she was Queen of the world, for her to sit there and DEMAND that she should be in charge of the house meeting as she was the only one who did not fight last night it sickened me beyond belief, but of course these parts will be shown to the C4 viewers totally out of context to show what an oh so lovely person Makosi is...

But where was her bitchfest with Kemal ? That lasted for litterally hours NOT ONE BIT OF THAT WAS SHOWN, she showed her true colours there, yet none of it was shown ! Where are the bits where she has paraded around like she owns the house ? Where are the bits where she has been bitchy and nasty for the sake of it ? Where are the bits where she has been so arrogant and full of herself ? I could go on, but I am sure that you get my point...

NONE OF THESE HAVE BEEN SHOWN !

I think that if C4 had shown any of that that the general public would have realised the type of person that Makosi really is... A nasty, selfish, spitefull, two faced, backstabbing, arrogant, horrible, self absorbed, egotistical, self centered little princess who think of no one and nothing but herself !

I actually think Mary's ego is higher than Makosi's at the moment. Makosi just has high self-esteem... that doesn't make her a bad person. It's a great trait to have imo.

It'll be interesting how they portray Makosi on the 10 o'clock show tonight because so far they have shown her as the poor unlucky contestant rarely showing her bitching even tho everyone dislikes her in the house because of it.I don't think they will make her look bad.

I agree totally, and i think it shows maturity and intelligence to change your opinion of people as they change the way they act. There's nothing wrong with being taken in by people at first, then seeing them for who they really are and changing your opinion accordingly.

Some people on this forum will never do that, they've put their pride on the line by backing her and claiming it was all only for the task, they will now find other reasons for her behaviour.

C4's highlight show has always been useless in my opinion, they can only show so much, and it never gives a good picture of what has actually gone on. The stuff with Kemal and Makosi must have gone on for about 2 and a half hours, there's no way they could have done it any justice.

I'd be interested to know, is there anyone who's been watching the live stream that likes Makosi? Anyone that's seen the conversations between Makosi and Kemal?

To be honest I don't think that they will make her look bad either. They haven't done so far and I would be quite surprised if they started to do so now !

I will be watching tonight's show with great interest to see how she is portrayed...

I agree with you, I think that it was mean of her not to tell Craig and Mary that she nominated them. She is now coming across as very arrogant.

I totally agree with you, I have no problem at all in admitting when I am wrong or have made a mistake, I have always personally found it arrogant and self deluding not to do so.

It is particularly hard to realise what a person is truly like in this enviroment as all we are given initially is a "Hyped up" look at them from their audtion tapes and I have always personally found it wrong to judge a person from such things.

There is nothing wrong of course in having initial feelings or impressions of someone, but in this enviroment what you initially see is not always what you will get, and I agree that people should observe, make up their own minds and then decide and then change their mind as to what that person is like accordingly.



Oh I agree, some people will make excuses for any action that their favourite housmate(s) take as they simply do not want to stand up and admit that they were wrong, or that they misjudged a person.

I personally think that is sad as we all make mistakes, we all misjudge people, it is only a natural human thing, but I think it takes a bigger person to admit that they may have been wrong then try to understand and learn from that.

Yep - I was wrong when I first liked Nadia last year. And wrong when I liked Cameron.

I agree with you, I think that if Makosi had conscience at all then she would have told them what had happend and explained to them why they had been nominated.

But I think that Makosi is a complete control freak and egotist and she is enjoying the fact that she has that knowledge and that others don't.

This was highlighted to me in the fact that the moment she came out of the diary room she took Kemal to one side to tell him all, she could not wait to divuldge her "Little secret"...

This will have made her look not only powerfull in both her and Kemal's mind, but also it would have made her seem more important and to an egotist and control freak there isn't much more important to them than that, except themselves.

I do think that she has made a mistake in divulging her "Little secret" to Kemal, as he is a similar person to her and I think that as soon as they have an argument it will all come out in the open !

I think she just wanted to unload on someone and Kemal is the closest one to her.

She's in a quandary. If she tells people what has happened she risks everyone assuming she is stirring things up again and getting more votes against her next time.

She was told by BB to SELECT two people for eviction, as opposed to merely nominating them. We can therefore excuse her for doing so.

However, the fact she never stopped smiling and smirking after doing the dirty work has made me go from not liking her much to absolutely detesting her.

Most people would feel at least a tinge of guilt in that situation, even if they didn't like the HMs involved, and even when they share the 'blame' with other HMs for nominating someone.

Not a trace of guilt from her though. The arm round Craig made me sick - it certainly wasn't sincere at all. She really is a cold selfish cow and I'm sure we'll see more of it from her before we inevitably get her out of there.

I think Makosi has completely calmed down now! She seems more laid back, and is talking (without any arguments) to Max, Anthony, Sam etc.

I didn't see any smirking. How do you know she doesn't feel guilty? If she was sitting around all day with her head in her hands you'd be accusing her of playing up to the cameras.

And how do you know she does? We all make judgements about people based upon what we see and what we perceive about them.

I felt that she enjoyed the task too much and felt that she bragged about the task to Kemal. That doesn't mean that she did those things but that she hasn't convinced me other wise.

Well most people tend to go by the principle innocent until proved guilty.

But if you want to assume everyone had evil motives until they prove to you otherwise that's your prerogative.

If we went on the Innocent until proven guilty basis, we would all be on here saying how good everyone was - and wheres the fun in that. This program is all about making judgement so that is what we will do. You have judged Makosi to be an essentialy good person. Thats fine. I have judged her to be a bit scheming. That is also fine. Neither of us are wrong because we are only discussing our perception of her. She may be a very nice girl or she may be pure evil - but only she truely knows that.

Makosi did the task well. She did not know BB was going to ask her to nominate two HMs, but when they did, she had no choice but to do it. Who ever she nominated, those that feel the way they do about her would still feel that way no matter who she chose.

Exactly..I dont think she was "bragging" at all..to me she was just "telling" Kamal..there's a difference. As i have said in the same shoes I would want to tell someone (its prob been eating her up inside not being able to discuss it til now and finally she can) too.

Why do you think she chose Mary and Craig? I am in no doubt that she chose Mary because she knows Mary is one person that she won't be able to dominate. I'm not sure why she chose Craig, though.

Well she didnt get a chance to explain why Craig because it was Live but Craig nominated her so maybe she sensed some friction there, not sure really.

I don't know about Mary...she gave her reasons so i guess we have to go by that, and also to be fair Mary has been banging on about wanting to leave for a while too.

Well, no, I don't think we do have to accept the reasons any of the HMs give. They have to give reasons but they don't have to be the real reasons. I find it more interesting to try to gauge what their real reasons are.

Whats wrong with the reason she gave though? Why pick up on her reasons and not on others reasoning for nominations, like Roberto who too didnt appear to nominate his biggest enemies?
