I really hope that Mary does stay now. All the other housemates seem convinced she is going, so if she stays some of them will have to rethink their gameplans.

This is true.

If the polls are close, then if the show wants to show Craig as needing our sympathy, then Mary goes.
It's worked that way on many occasions before.

The Friday night voting is where most votes are cast.
If the polls are close, then Mary doesn't stand a chance if the show decides that Craig is better for the game.

Obviously it works the other way around with Craig and Mary too.
But I think Mary will go mainly because she started criticisng BB itself the other night.
They tend not to allow that to happen, and never let the HM in question get away with that. They tend to reward housemates who conform to the "BB Experience" that they see as the experience.
Any housemate who "embraces" the "BB experience" and licks it's ass, will be seen fondly by BB.
Any housemate that picks holes, points out flaws, and criticisms in the "BB experience"..is gone shortly afterwards.

Mary - 46%

Eek! It's getting exciting, isn't it?

If all those polls are wrong... well, they lose all credibility.

wanadoo can be accurate but there are always surprises. its hard to say.

like you mentioned, if something big happens during the week (like vic and shell) then the polls can be meaningless if they dont make a new poll afterwards.

i like wanadoo cos there must be lots of voters and its not so easy to multivote.

Wanadoo is usually very accurate, although I do remember that during the final week of BB4 Steph was leading the poll with over 50% of the vote

BBOnline is projecting a Craig lead though and they never get it wrong...

Nothing big has happened though, unless you count Craig's pitiful Britney impression - which i really hope they show tonight, as it will most probably work against him.

maybe thats when they made multivoting harder

to Elena : The BB Online poll is a lot more than I expected so maybe it is roughly scientific(?) (if no multivoting is allowed)

judging by the way the wanadoo poll has fluctuated along with betfairs betting this afternoon, maybe theres a connection (?)

I know last year wanadoo was often very accurate (from what i remember)

I agree, I would like Mary to escape this one.

I just don't see what Craig can offer to the show.

Mary seems to bring some fire to the proceedings. And is still a very different type of person than what we're used to.
I just want to see how she interacts with the others over the weeks. Will she relax and be less intense? will she be able to be firends with anyone? will she give anyone more trust? will she be less paranoid?
These are the kinds of things I'm interested in.
Craig just doesn't offer that kind of interest to me.

I want to see how Mary and Science get on over the weeks, they do like and have respect for each other.

There's many similar types in the house. I like to see a good mix of different people.
Some of them are expendable because they are a bit like someone else in there. Mary is too different to lose so early on.

Craig 10/11 1/1 5/6 5/6 1/1 1/1 1/1 10/11 10/11 1/1 1/1

These polls change so much though.

On the night of the show a lot will depend on what's actually broadcast.
I just think that Mary will go.
It's more about passionate feelings when it comes to a negative voting system, and i think a lot of people get more angry with Mary then Craig.
And if Craig gets a good edit on tonight's show, then I can't see how Mary can survive despite what the polls say this early in the day.

I think Mary staying will have more of an effect on the other housemates and make them all wonder what the public want, and what criteria they're voting for. And if Craig stays it will be business as usual and a total anticlimax.
