I'll get screamed at for not revealing my source and being an attention seeker, I'm sure, but just to let you know the state of play:

Voting *currently* appears to be neck and neck. If anything, Mary has slightly more votes than Craig.

Caveat - this is NOT from ALL votes cast, it's from a smallish percentage, although it's a large enough data set to be informative.

I'll post again tomorrow afternoon for all you gamblers out there...

Interesting, might be worth backing Mary now especially if she is edited badly.

That's what I was thinking. However, I'd wait until tomorrow afternoon. I can't see the odds changing that much and I might have a better idea by then.

Mary is throwing away her chance of staying in by behaving rudely which everyone will see tonight. If we don't then the editing is being done in her favour.

I think the show tonight will change lots of people's opinions. I disliked Craig and loved Mary before, but after watching the live coverage last night, I felt sorry for Craig (slightly ) and wanted Mary out out out!

Could you give us an indication of how you came by the data.....sampling is not always indicative

I remember Kaitho being rather accurate last year, it's from text voting if I recall correctly?

Thanks, its always useful to know where the info is coming from. Hopefully Dazza or Delish will be able to shed more light soon.

Yes, that's right, or rather last year's figures were. This year the figures are sourced from both texts and calls. By the way, it appears that less people are using texts this year to vote. Has the price gone up?

You're absolutely right, of course, and I would in no way claim that the figures I'm working from are an absolutely accurate representation. There's always the potential for significant difference etc. I just hope to be able to give people an indication of the way things seem to be going.

Davina didn't give out the text number last night for some unknown reason!

Yup. Apparently now 35p plus network charge.

Yes, to 35p. But also, they didn't give out the text number on last nights show, nor is it on the website.

Possibly because there isnt a text number......so where do your figures come from?

Yes I have noticed Mary's odds for eviction are increasing as well. I think her behaviour over the next few days will have more people disliking her than liking her and she will be gone on Friday.

Is there not? Someone said they were 35p a text above.

Anyway. Figs come from a telecoms company, which, for obvious reasons, I won't name. I've been given a "total" figure for the vote sample, i.e. no split between texts and calls. I was told (and I'll quote it) - "Can do you calls this year as well! Good thing too, f*ck all texts so far. Will re-run just in case," followed later by "query was fine". I took the "f*ck all* to be figurative. Maybe it was literal. I've fired off an e-mail for the sake of clarification. But tbh I don't care where the votes come from - they all count.

Odd if people don't have the facility to vote via text though. Would have thought that would be a sizeable income stream.

No worries, except when you make a living playing the odds against bookies its useful if you know the facts...hence my previous comments. Thanks anyway for the clarification
