Makosi is the going to win!!

Its already clear that Makosi has been chosen as the winner this year.I can't see anyone else winning or even coming close. If she is going to be the unlucky housemate through the whole series then she will get the sympathy vote.

Is that heavy going, good going or a bit soft?

It'll be heavy going watching it.Especially when you know the result.

so far thats makes Mary, Makosi, Sam, Derek, Maxwell and Saskia as HM's Ive seen described as 'the chosen one'.
So I suppose its a good chance someone will be able to say when the winner is announced 'its a fix, I said so from the first week'

Come on, you've been here long enough. There'll be cries of fixed voting - I couldn't get through on the phoneline, they messed up the votes for my fav housemate, they edited the final week wrong to make my fav look like a prat, it's all a conspiracy, endemol knew who would win before they even selected the contestants, we've been tricked, this is the fault of Tony Blair/Asylum Seekers/George W. Bush/Jade Goody/A Dalek... I'm never watching/voting/cutting my toenails again!

That's why I love this forum so much though!

The voting ai'nt fixed but the manipulation of the viewers is easily done.Just like that Steve winning middle aged pop idol because of the bitching of Osbourne.

Is it me or does anyone else find that a depressing thought.

Too early to tell Hamlet, I refer to my right to chance my mind seeing as it's Week 1 but if it was the Final tonight I would have thought she'd stand a strong chance.

Also I think a black female winner would tick many boxes at Endemol, and she's certainly a character we're going to seeing more of in future - love her or hate her!

She won't win. If they're going for the token black winner, i think Vanessa has the most chance, the only bad stuff being said about her is that she's dull. If she turns it around and shows a bit more of her personality then she'd definately have a chance, she's not really opinionated, or nasty, so will do well flying under the radar, then with a push in the last few weeks, she could do it.

I don't like her personally though. I hate Makosi.

But many said exactly the same about Nadia last year but she still won. The real thing about Makosi is I suspect she's peaked too soon - most other winners built up their strength more slowly apart from Brian (BB2) who was a winner from Day 1.

She has a fight on her hands with Kemal. But I hope Makosi wins with Kemal 2nd.

The main problem with "chosen one" theories is that they assume the producers necessarily want one particular HM to win, and right from the start, rather than just wanting a winner who will make the show look good or make viewers feel good about the result.

Then the enemies of such theories assume that if there isn't one HM chosen from the start, then the producers aren't manipulating things at all in ways intended to give certain HMs advantages.

But if someone turns out to be popular, for example, helping them be more popular can mean that more people are glad when they stay in or win; and the producers may well be doing just that.

I don't think she will win. She will be the scape-goat during the 'shock' eviction.

Chosen or not, unlucky or not, I'd love to see her win as she's given me lots of laughs! - as have Kemal & Derek - so good luck to the 3 of them
