If I wasn't very much mistaken, we are now into the 6th year of the 21st century, and yet, BB producers cannot get it together to produce such a high profile program in widescreen. I find this very disapointing in an age when the only 4:3 programs we see nowdays are old programs.

Surely I'm not the only person who feels this way?

I fully agree with what you are saying but there was some suggestion that when BB was signed up for another few years back a few seasons ago, the contract was for 4:3 transmission as the standard.

C4 are currently negotiating with Endemol for the rights to broadcast BB for several more years. You can guarantee that if this contract is signed, a requirement will be that the show is broadcast in Widescreen.
So, count on it next year.

The stupid thing is though, the BBLB and BB Davina show ad break bumpers are broadcast in widescreen.
