I think Lesley is okay, to reply to the thread question, and good value at 22/1 on the top of the page (though probably well away from the winning line in reality).

People who watch the 10pm shows might have been fooled into liking her but im certainly not going to be based on the live feeds.

Like alot of the HMs this year, I start to like them and then they do something to annoy me again and I have to re-think.

I would say that compared to this time last week Lesley has gone from a 1 to a 4 on the scale of least liked to most liked. Sometimes she edges ahead and sometimes she slips back again.

However, if she keeps singing then she will slip back to one again.

I'm surprised to hear her called "natural". She's natural and "being herself" only in the sense that she doesn't have some other personality hidden away somewhere. But that's only because the artificial is so completely a part of her that there's almost nothing natural left.

Every day that she stays is another day ruined whenever she's on screen. The thought that she might stay to the end or even win is sickening.

Well, for all her obvious desperation to 'make it' in some way, I kind of can't help but like Lesleh a little bit. She's barely more than a kid, don't forget. But I think she's mostly genuine, which is more than a number of other HMs. She seems to actually get on with various others and to like them and be liked in return. The Jade comparisons are grossly unfair as she's obviously much more intelligent than that hideous bog troll.

i see her as a rough diamond. i don't think she has come from the enviroment that a lot of people have. maybe she sees her dress sense as acceptable, and a lot of people are like her.

this does not make her a bad person. i don't think that she has had the advantages that sam has had (university education). she probably hasn't been out of huddersfield that many times.

I agree with you. Lesley has a lovely voice. I don't think she is 'fat' or 'common'. I think she is just a young woman using words she uses everyday, what's wrong with that.

Me personally, I wouldn't criticise anyone for being "fat" or "common". I feel I can criticise her though, for continuously pulling at her breasts to show the cameras the best view, and for the back-biting. She may change as the weeks go on, but I just see her as a fame-hungry (even more so than most of the house), pretty arrogant young woman.

Fat, ignorant, cheap, gobby & common as muck. The best thing that could be said about her is she’s an accurate reflection of a huge number of chavvy young women in this country. Can’t wait until her dad comes on BBLB. A father at 16 - What a life he’s had. The Chav gene is strong in this family.

Try as I might warming to Leslie seems unlikely. She just makes my skin crawl. I keep hoping for something intelligent or even funny to come out of her mouth. No luck as of yet, but I did see yesterday that she actually does have two eyes. Not being a cyclops must count for something.
