I can't believe this post, I usually just lurk on here, but I had to reply to this. They are people in a Reality TV Show, to discuss them commiting suicide is digusting. I think that this should be deleted straight away

Dangerous stuff, I can see the OP's nightmare scenario appearing, BUT I would imagine the head doctors get to work ASAP especially with the first evictee, boosting confidence etc.

I would hope the psych tests would eliminate anyone even possibly getting depression from being evicted first, never find suicidal. Plus the HMs do get a bit of attention from BBLB etc and remember this time the evicted HM can see what all the fuss is about and that can be very comforting for the attention seekers that always enter BB.

I can understand the OPs concerns and FROM WHAT WE HAVE SEEN OF THEM, the two potential evictees are certainly the least able to cope with the 'shame', 'disgrace' or 'failure' of being evicted first than any previous series, however I would assume that there are many many systems in place to prevent any danger of even mild depression resulting from rejection.

I think that is a little unfair.

We should be able to discuss this as it 'could' happen to anyone in that senario really and this topic is very valid. There are hundreds of topics on this forum so people dont actually have to read the thread if they dont like it.

I have found it interesting that people want to discuss this topic.

Just my two scents worth for this afternoon

Actually I wanted to let this die in the depths of the forum, but since now someone answered. Well it happened on one of the american "reality" talk shows, so it's a possibility.. But as Hamlet77 you hope that the psychologists do a good job and are better than the american psychologists they employ there too. I think BB has one up as they appear to employ more real academics and not some random commercial psychologist and several and not only one.

As stated above I don't think Mary will have problems as her life consists anyway out of making weird stuff up and generally being a misery, so it will just support anyway what she thinks of the world.

As for Craig, well if he hears he wasn't really up for eviction, that will give him a boost. The other thing he really has to cope with is that the "public" choose him over Mary and that his homeplace isn't to chuffed about him, probably ruining his business chances.

Please remember he is quite young, although it was his decision, some people make mistakes. As it appears to me, as the first one out, if he is the first one out, he won't be very interesting for the media [aka low income there], his business is threatened so it will have been a mistake for him .. Let's hope he will get all the support he needs to cope with it.
