Max is going down a storm this year.
Love him or hate him you have to admit he is one of the most influential housemates this year, and will possibly go down in history as THE best HM ever.

No other housemate has got people talking as much as max has this year so early on in BB.
We are still in week one and he is the only housemate that most people have a definate opinion on.

You can chop and change your opinions on the others, but you know where you stand with max.
That is a sign of great intergrity from max and a purely honest personality.

Stand aside fakers!
max rox!

PS,
don't turn this onto another "bitch about max" thread.
The topic is his influence on the house and how people know where they stand with him..

In a word.....no. To be talked about doesn't make you the best.

He has an unfair advantage as he was on the BB dry run last year. And could well be a plant.

It seemed to work with pepsi.

This is just the begining. because people are talking about him the most they will end up feeling like they relate to him more than any other HM.
It classic marketing.

I can guarentee max will win this year, hands down.

Max hasn't even registered on my interest/dislike meter, so therefore he can't be doing anything of huge interest or stirring things up either.

You could forget he was even there.

LOL I meant in reference to my likes and dislikes. He just seems a typical lad of his age, all talk about booze, sex and footie. At the moment Derek and Makosi interest me more. Derek because I can't figure out why he would want to be on this show and want to know more about him. Makosi interests me to a point, in why she will refer to herself as Makosi and not as I.

Sounds a bit flimsy to me, I could lose a lot of money here.

He's alright.. hardly fantastic. I'd rate Spencer, the Ticklemeister, Brian, Alex, Helen, Kitten and Michelle all more entertaining. He's funny but I don't think he's overly remarkable.

Like Jason last year, Max will probably last towards the end but also like Jason will fail for exactly the same reasons. The public like entertaining, but they hate nasty....

How is he nasty? Was he the one who put mary and craig up for eviction and then spent the next 24 hours kissing thier arses? nope.

There has never been a HM that is popular at the begining who goes on to win it. They have all beem average untill 2 thirds of the way through.

Trust me, max will definatly win.

He's a great piece of casting. They wanted a contrast to everyone else and someone to play stereotypical bloke and they found him - coarser, thicker version of Arthur Mullard meets Del Boy. "White bloke" had to be in there but had to be unsuitable as a winner as "white bloke wins" is deadly dull.
To make it even funnier he has Saskia (Jordan) and Sam (slapper) to fight over him and the brightest and most successful people in the house are all black.

I thought Victor was much more entertaining last year. *flameproof suit enabled*

She was put in a difficult position and the fact that she tried to kiss and make up with them is because, like most people with a conscience, she feels guilty. Maxwell is entertaining and quite funny, but he also has an undeniable nasty streak that emerges when under pressure just the type to glass you in a pub if you don't see the warning signs

True, that's why I'm putting a tenner on Lesley to win.

Sorry m8, since Tony Blair asked me, I'm not taking anyone on trust again....

If max was the type to glass you in the pub im sure it would have been more obvious by now. He has been provoked enough and has never even come close to dishing out anything more that a raised voice.

Yeah makosi had a difficuly thing to do, but theres no need to talk so much crap afterwards.
She said she nominated mary because mary called her 2 faced, how ironic then that the nominating her was blatently 2 faced.
And the kissing her arse afterwards put the cherry on the cake.

Lesley dosnt have the stamina to make it past week 6.

And that sort of line really worked for Becki last year.

Whatever his flaws, he's not in the Craig / Lesleh / Venessa / Makosi / Kemal / Mary "we're so wonderful while the others are stupid and two-faced" faction that is ruining BB6.

We have to take the heros we find rather than the ones we wish we could.

Max won't win. One of the vile show-runiers probably will.

But Max won't go down without a fight.

This is the year of the Rooster and Maxwell is the only rooster in the house.Doesn't mean he'll win or even have a successful year. But when our year sign comes along, certain things happen.
To coin his song of the other night...
"All things bright and beautiful
All creatures great and small
Arsenal won the FA Cup
And Man U won ****** all "

What will Maxwell win?

For gawds sake I miss the highlights last night and haven't seen much of the live coverage this morning and what happens they bring in this new HM called Max... Bit dangerous having two HMs with such similar names could get complicated in the voting. I mean the OP could not possibly be reffering to Maxwell the lahndernah who entered last week.

How come I haven't seen this wonder HM Max yet, cos it certainly isn't Maxwell.

No, Maxwell is not one of the best housemates ever. He's like an amalgamation of previous laddish housemates - Bubble, PJ, Spencer blah blah blah. Hope he is one of the first to go.
