karma Sutra

I am grateful that we have been spared the inane ticker tape running along the bottom of the screen this year.

But did I imagine it, or did the first night have a banner across the screen depicting two plastic dolls posed in a position from the karma sutra and the names Heather and James and wheel barrow?

You are indeed correct, confused the hell outta me too, maybe it's a subtle hint at a future task. Pick a partner, give each other a new name and re-enact a kama-sutra position? It could happen. Anybody? No?

Or each housemate's favourite position:

Lesley: "Can I go on top? No? OK then."

You're absolutely right. I looked at it, for a long time, in disbelief. "Surely," I thought, "even with all the technical errors that they are managing on this live stream, this cannot be an error..." And sure enough, the caption was on there for 15 minutes and possibly more.

What was it all about?

I'm just looking at the god Shiva in my copy...not even he is depicted as having enough faces to cover some of the HMs

Didn't they do something along those lines last year? I think the idea is that you text your name and an hm's name to a number - they then put the texter's name together with a hm's name and work out how 'compatible' they are? (something to do with numerology or something!). Another way of wresting the cash out of viewers.......

The weirdest thing of all is that ticker has basically disappeared and you can't text-vote...it may now be 35p but that's still not a revenue-earner sum.

Thank heavens I wasn't imagining it. I can cancel the emergency appointment with a pychiatrist.

Perhaps it was an in-house joke? We're not having the premium rate ticker tape and games anymore so we'll have a spoof one instead.

I am QUITE confident that it was merely some accidental testing of an upcoming text 'game' (much like those diabolical things on music channels) to try and earn some extra pennies or two.

Oh I think it could be. I guess it depends how many people are prepared to pay it to send a text/vote.
