I was wondering if this years show is staged or set up.
I only ask this because of information i was given.
You all probably know this but i couldn't find any mention in the search facility.
1.Maxwell worked for Endemol last year testing out the house.
2.Vanessa i think is friends with Marco.
3.Roberto dated one of the production crew.
It seems very coincidental,if this has happened then it casts a shadow over the previous shows.

Y'know, on the first night I got the impression they all knew each other. Like when one of them said "What's your name again?" when meeting for the first time." Er, you don't know my name" which to me was "You're not supposed to know my name *elbow in side/evil look*"...

But that's just my view of it.

I noticed that too and I'm sure that Dereck mentioned that he had been "approached" to do the show!!

I've seen the X files, I've seen Capricorn One, I've read more than enough on JFK's assasination to know one thing.

If they were staging BB6 they sure as h**l wouldn't make such childish mistakes as to have the evidence so easily found.

Oh and the OP would have a 'mysterious car accident' PDQ.

When Makosi went into the diary room for the first time and they gave her her task she said "You didn't tell me that " or words to that effect, implying that she had had instructions before eg to be the first into the diary room.

Hmm guys I think this is all clutching at straws and coincidence.

Whenever I meet a lot of new people I lose track of who I've said "hi" to so I just say, "what's your name again?", so that's nothing.

I don't think Makosi's words in the DR were out of place because of her character, either.

God, I'm glad its not just me, I've had a 'wierd' feeling about the show since day 1, it all seems a bit strange, nobody has really made the effort to get to know anyone - 'staged' is exactly what I thought

They have to deal with the weak link - the hms.

You'd need a full trabscript of what was said, including what was said off camera, she may have been reminded not to swear, 'You didn't tell me that' could have been about anything.

As I say if it is a fix then it's a f*****g sloppy one.

People are fallible you know.
oh and by the way.
Capricorn one was a fictitious movie and The X-Files is a fictitous tv show.AS for JFK make up your own mind.
Lets face it BB aren't rocket scientists so mistakes can easily be made.
Also what do they care if they are found out people will still watch.Look at Pop Idol 90 % of the contestant are alredy known by the panel but people still watch.

they have met each other before - at the auditions.

as for having seen them before, a lot of people cruise the reality-show circuits for a living, e.g. the cheeky girls had been on a few reality-type shows before "finding fame" on Pop Idol/Stars

Mmmmmm I guess if it was going to be a set up then surely they would have chosen 'brighter' HMs, this lot arn't exactly the shar pest are they?

It is quite possible that some of the housemates met during the audition process where they have to do lots of those team buiding games and role-playing.
Victor and Kitten had met at the auditions last year.

Well they may have heard the person saying their name to the others but didn't quite catch what it was, therefore would say "Whats your name again?"

woooooooshh.

The point I was trying to make is that the errors made are so incredibly stupid as to make any idea of being allowed to get through ANY fix as to make the idea nearly impossible.

Oh Roberto dated a researcher........... next please.

Maxwell was in the dry run last year........... next please.

Have you considered Roberto met the researcher at an audition and that Maxwell impressed in the dry run that they gave him a go.

And Vanessa got coached by a friend with experience.

That's true hamlet and I'm not a conspiarcy theorist but for the last few years there have been times when certain things have looked "staged".As if Hms have been given suggestions as to how to deal with certain circumstances or scenarios. As you qiute rightly say we don't see/hear everything in particular what is said in the diary room. BB gives the impression that they leave hms to make their own decissions with problems etc but we don't know that suggestions are not made.

Yes, but like Brian and Bubble and Kate and Jade in the past, when they first met they didn't try to hide it.

There is no BB setup. Think about it...

Think about how often we have nomination leaks, how much that information is valuable to a newspaper. Now think about how much the newspapers would pay for information surrounding BB being a setup...
If they cannot trust their staff to keep nomination results to themselves they for sure will not be able to trust staff to keep quiet about a setup.
That would be in the papers quicker than Kemal can wash in a bin.

In previous BBs the HMs have all sat and chatted about who they are, where they're from, what they do for a living etc.....have this lot done that this year? (maybe I missed it!)

We have no idea what is said and done whilst the HM are with the chaperones in isolation. And I am willing to concede that just maybe having gained the HMs confidence 'their new best friend' gives them a few pointers from having worked with 'name drops popular HM from previous series'. Heck it's probably a lot more subtle than that. Remember BB does have one heck of a lot of head doctors working on this every year.

Now there is no guarantee that said HM will follow the lead and I suppose Endemol are just covering their backs in case they have made an enormous howler with some HMs, but doing that and actually staging or worse scripting the whole show is a completely different matter.

Just a few queries from me:

1) Do we have proof that Maxwell was in the dummy run of BB?
2) Do we have proof (not that photo) which shows Vanessa was coached by Marco?
3) Do we have proof that Roberto dated/dates a BB producer?

I'm not saying none of the above are true. To the best of my knowledge they are just rumours. I'd like it backed up, please?

Besides that, if the above 3 points prove to be true they still do not point to BB being setup.

BB have nothing to gain by staging things. The risk of being found out would be immense.

I have seen nothing to suggest this series is staged.

I suspect this is because most of the HM's are only interested in one person in the house - themselves. They also know that "getting on" produced the biggest BB flop (BB4) and fighting produced BB5 which everyone was talking about so there is no point in even pretending to like each other.

As for it being staged - I ask again WHY? for a start there is no need - there are easier (and more importantly cheaper) ways to produce a show like this than staging it and b) given that the Government and Intelligence services can't even keep matters of National Security to themselves (witness the damaging leaks during and before the Iraq war) do you really think that a TV company full of people who are not paid that much would be able to keep something like that under wraps?

As you said before you watch the Xfiles.wasnt an edict of the show that the alien invasion was so preposterous that no one would believe even though it was actually happening.and following from you that point goes to me.
Is a researcher not part of the production crew. and again
Didnt i already say that he worked for endemol last year.and again.

Last year, Dan and Kitten knew each other. He kept calling her Kat even though she had never mentioned that name in the house. Eventually they admitted that they had met clubbing.

It's no surprise that hardcore wannabes run into each other whilst chasing fame.
