I also switched over to CLI last night and although they were also arguing I found myself far more engrossed in ITV and I have only watched about 2 CLI episodes previously!!!

I'm not watching it live so when I do watch the update show, I'm finding it hard to follow. I don't know why people are arguing at all. There's no storyline just constant moaning and shouting!

In the words of Black-eyed peas, 'Where is the love'

Does anyone else feel like this?”

Hate to say it but I agree. There is just no humour this time. I mean, we had fight night last year but we had already had time to get to know the housemates and it was just a culmination of things that had happened previously so it really worked and made shocking, dramatic TV. Who can forget how funny it was when Emma and Michelle left the hidden room and hid under the table. And how gripping it then became as the game players realised their plans had been scuppered ?

This time they have been at each others throats from the start and there doesn't seem to be any reason for it. Half the time I'm not sure what they are fighting about. Like, for instance, Derek started crying on last nights highlights but I wasn't sure why. It just seems unbalanced like they've cut loads out.

I feel its a combination of bad editing & a group of people who all seem to have at least one major personality defect along with a shared mentality that humour comes out of bitching. At least last year you had Nadia's struggle to balance her temper, Victors hilarious rants to balance his manipulation etc etc.

Early days but so far there is no one in the house I really like (even Kemal has worn off me). Usually there's a couple I like, a couple I don't like, and the rest I haven't seen enough of to form an opinion on. There's only 1 housemate this time who I haven't formed an opinion on and that's Vanessa who has had about 2 minutes screen time. She might actually win by being the only one who isn't hated by the end of this.

Even Dermott said the other night that the arguments are moving so fast that he can't keep up. He said he watched some the show to be aired later in the evening and couldn't work out why someone was fighting with someone else. There is just no reason for it. Its as if the HMs have decided that if they want to win they have to be aggressive and argue as its served some HMs well in the past to show some "passion".

I agree with the lack of story in the editing as well - I thik that's because there isn't one as no real bonds have been struck yet.

Look on the bright side, next year each political party will probably insist on having their own representative in the house. Robert Kilroy Silk is probably getting his application in even as we speak ...
