I agree that she is probably the gutsiest housemate that has ever been on Big Brother.

Why do you think she's like Nadia? I can't see any similarity to Nadia at all.

I don't think it is gutsy to insult people to their faces.
Also, when she and Saskia had their spat, Saskia asked for the two of them to chat alone but Mary insisted on an audience. I think that says a lot about Mary.
She's just an attention-seeker in my opinion.

Nadia and Mary - Both like to be the centre of attention and bitch behind other peoples backs. Also both fake and unworthy of their place in the Big Brother house.

But then the proportional representation crowd will be back, chastizing us for voting out the only Irish contestant (despite the fact they maintained there were NO Irish contestants).

I'm not interested in whether or not she's genuine in her methods - probably she's not - but it is one of the few entertaining things about this series, so by all means she must stay!

The point I'm making is that she just comes out with what she thinks of people whether or not you or I or anyone else thinks it's right. I.e. fearless regardless of the consequences.

Well, In all honesty I have enjoyed Mary from day one, it has been great to see a different type of housemate enter for a change.

But tonight being her last night, I hope they give her a great send off.

I'm sorry but to me it seems a bit desperate, this needless confrontation of the other HMs. I thought she came off worse when she tried to confront Anthony the other day - he was not really bothered what she thought and she didn't seem to have a well thought out argument as to why he was a fake. I don't think she's handled being nominated well at all, she seems to be sulking now. Which is a shame as she was probably my favourite after the first couple of days.

If we all went through the day telling people what we thought of them becuase we had an inflated ego, we'd end up like Mary, a sorry excuse for a grown woman.

what she is doing to saskia is like an adult child-minder telling a child she hates them when she knows theres nobody around who will do anything.

But I didn't say she wasn't rude or irrational. I said she's fearless and plunges right in there with everyone on what 'she' thinks about them. Surely, as a character on a BB show, she's very unique?

i think its cos of fear that she does this. she strikes out. she wanted to go within 5 minutes of being there.

i think the biggest sin a person can make on BB is waste someone elses experience there for no rational reason. At least Tim and co had the 'excuse' that Sophie had bored them all to tears for a couple of weeks.

she tried to single saskia out. maybe she thought she could isolate her from the group for hatred. i dont mind the obnoxious stuff she says to others.

Just as she taunted Saskia (who has only shown her kindness) that she was bringing a dog into the house knowing she had a dog phobia. Saying it was a joke when it was discovered to be a lie showed Mary for the sick person she is.

saskia had to collect the hangers the other night and mary wanted to keep hers. i think she put a snake in saskias bed too. i think she went to bed yesterday cos she had failed to isolate saskia. saskia was to do the list yesterday and mary suddenly wanted to (thats when dek shouted at her)

i dont mind all the other grief she gives others (rightly or wrongly).

she is very intelligent but unbelievably spiteful and irrational to saskia. how anyone can support that, I dont know.

on the bright side, i find a lot of things she says might be accurate but the vitriol stuff is not very nice

Mary didn't have the guts to tell Sakia what she thought to her face, preferring to do so behind her back. Which inevitably led to the big barney.

I will concede that Mary is intelligent, be she lacks the common sense to choose her victims more wisely. She seems to have calculated that it was safe to pick on the quiet good looking girl with the outsized knockers, assuming that others would side with her and that Saskia wouldn't stand up for herself.

I believe Mary is now confronting the others to avoid recriminations centred on her being a fake backstabbers, and in order that she has made her mark before she leaves. I think she will be very bitter if she has to go.

Some good points made here in relation to why she's going around telling people what she thinks of them. IMO it's suicide what she's doing, as surely every single person will put her up for nomination. Which bears the question, why is she doing it?

Could it be possible that she means what she says and cares nothing of the consequences?

Rudi, I think if she goes tonight, she may well be bitter, as I would think she expects the public to see her as genuine and keep her in.

I would want her to stay a while longer to find out how she's perceived by her hms and how the nominations go next week.
