To be honest, I'm pig sick of it. I can just tell I'm going to get in a strop tonight and get myself banned, but I'm just so bitterly disappointed.

Craig was the least favourite in all the Big Brother polls this week. He does nothing of any interest whatsoever, sits on his a*se, moans about everything, keeps us from seeing Vanessa's character, lies to get into the house then becomes dull. We naturally didn't like him. But once he goes up against someone with more than a zillion gallons of potential interest than him we are so short sighted to evict her over him. So. Short. Sighted.

And it's every year, too. Pig sick of it, I am.

Rant over, ignore me.

I agree.
It's only the first week, and there are several people in there who are quite "samey".
I wanted Mary to continue for a while because she's so different to most of them, and would keep the mix more interesting.

It's always the case of people wanting seemingly "nice" people to do well.
But experience has shown us that many "nice" people go on to be not so "nice" and end up also getting hated anyway, and very few contestants are universally popular at the end of each series.
The hate just gets transferred onto somebody else each subsequent week.

AOL has a good record of always getting it right when it comes to evictions...they didnt get one wrong in the whole of big brother 4...
...mary might as well leave now..

It did not allow multi voting in BB4, but it did in BB5 and was wrong every single week by a massive margin.

I'm actually really surprised at the way the polls and betting odds are going. Yesterday and indeed for most of the week, people were saying how much they hated Craig. I don't think he's ever been popular, he was the one everyone wanted rid of after only an hour on the first night, and he's pretty much remained that unpopular.

But it seems that today the tide has really changed. Not sure if it'll have any real meaning as to the final result, but the figures have really changed. I for one have been doing my best to argue the case for getting rid of Mary, but i'm really, really surprised she's become as unpopular as Craig now, maybe truth and common sense have won afterall!

How can it be wrong if it's hardly any different to the one you find "interesting"

It won't be dull for you if she leaves then, you can support the next person that everyone hates.

Wanadoo changed to:

Mary = 53%

Probably because they crack very quick once they are in and react in ways people find annoying?

Because AOL allows for multivoting and never got it right throughout BB5.

Wanadoo doesn't and got it right throughout BB5. More interesting, therefore.

LOL. Mary has done exactly the same thing. They've both sat feeling sorry for themselves, they've both bitched, they've both had arguments, they're both the same except for one thing, at least Craig is honest about it. Mary has been lying all over the place.

Wanadoo update:

Mary = 54%

Come on, Craig! You can do it!

Hope that is right.

Elena I do agree with you about the women thing, and if it was anyone else against Craig I would be voting him out. I just find watching Mary unbearable. She has an effect on me that no other housemate has ever had

LOL...I hear where you're coming from.

Don't get yourself banned though.
I just feel deflated as the predictable is about to happen yet again.
Anyone who's different in any way, has to be on extra special behaviour. It's okay if they are different, but behave nicely so we can pat them on the head,...but the more "normal" conventional types can often get away with murder for pretty much the same behaviour.

Craig claims he won't compromise his character just to stay in,..but then compromises his behaviour to stay in by desperately dancing like a monkey for the same people he was bitching behind their backs about all week.
Then suddenly BB make him out to be Mr. Entertainment.

It pisses me off a bit, and just deflates me.
I should have learnt that things are unlikely to change much with BB by now, and things stay pretty much predictable.

But the polls on each are barely discernable. Therefore they are both right or both wrong as to who will be evicted.

Unfortunately, women always get judged far more harshly in Big Brother than men do for some reason and has been getting worse as each series progresses. How many times do women beat men in an eviction vote? I suspect there will be a repeat of BB4 with all the women getting booted off one at a time.

Elena...if mary wasnt so evil and vicious towards her fellow housemates then she might have had a fighting chance...unfortunately that is not the case...

BB4 will return if you do!

Oh, No!

I am voting again!

Please, I am off now. Vote Mary off and save BB!!!!! A Rating slump is a disaster!

Wanadoo Polls:

Craig is tied in 4th place as favourite housemate.

Mary is ahead 54-46 to Craig in the "Who will go?" poll.

Come on, Craig! You can do it!

News just in:

Every vote for Mary to leave, is a vote for an end to hunger in 3rd world countries, an end to poverty, an end to terrorism, and most importantly, it is an end to having to watch a Pob-faced Elvira all over our TV screens, moaning about everything and everyone, then claiming to be pure and grounded in her true being.

Much like real life then
I do think the men are much stronger characters than the women this year though. Makosi is great and has a wicked personality, Lesley has gone up in my estimation a bit, but the other 3 are pretty boring and nothing more than eye candy really.

How the HELL will it be BB4 if Mary stays!?

It is the same mentality that MADE BB4 HAPPEN that is voting Mary out tonight.

Simple. Mary is boring, Craig is not. Evict the boring ones.
