I would like Mary to stay, she has more entertainment value than Craig but she is also more dispising. I think she will be voted out because that is the only sure-fire way of punishing her. To keep her in would give her a false sense of acceptance the puplic would not wish to bestow upon her.

Well, that went nicely I think when Davina said 8%, she meant 58-42 (i.e. an 8% swing needed for Mary to turn it round). That's in line with what I thought and hopefully that's right - if so, I should be quids in by the end of the series

Do you know if Craig had more votes when voting started? and when Mary overtook him?

They like to call the voting close - so I'd not be surprised if you are right Kaitho.

I'm pretty sure the final vote tally was somewhere in region of 60:40. This would mean Mary needed an extra 10% to draw level, but the gap between the two would be 20%.

I don't know exactly what Davina said at 9pm - was it something like "there's 8% in it"? Which I would reckon would mean a 16% difference...

I don't think he did but I'm not sure. I only got my first indication on Thursday PM. At that stage, Mary had more votes than Craig. The gap continued to widen, fairly slowly, all through yesterday. But that's based only on my sample, not on total votes. The total vote count might have worked differently...

oh, by the way, C4 BB site has it at 60% for Craig

All we KNOW is that there was a 8% 'gap'. It is far more likely - given that the only 'straw in the wind' is from Kaitho - that Mary was already behind going into last night's show. Doesn't fit conspiracy/editing theories of course but there you go...
