Last week's thread is showing 53,320 views (NB for a single programme - not a whole series) and 1430 replies over 58 pages.

This is clearly unmanageable and virtualy unreadable. Many different discussions have got mixed up and lost.

Can we please have a separate sci-fi section and be allowed to discuss different topics with useful headers?

Yeah, what he said. It took me about 6 hours to read through that whole thread.

I completely agree

Several posters have commented about how long the thread had become - WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO WITHOUT A SEPERATE FORUM

If we can't have a seperate SciFi section it at least justifies starting a new thread for tomorrows episode

Hah! I started a thread three weeks ago, but due to temporal anomalies it hasn't shown up yet.

<ontopic>Actually I'm quite looking forward to this episode, and not just for the Bad Wolf preview. They might actually do something halfway decent with the
Spoiler
(spoilered just in case). It could be fun - plus there's the Bad Wolf preview </ontopic>

And, even as a newbie, I have to agree.

I frankly, am appalled that you chose such a ridiculously early time to start this thread. It isn't like DW generates any interest on DS, it's highly unlikely that this thread will have over 100 posts before the programme starts, and I really can't think of a worse candidate to have its own forum or sub forum.
I'm off to discuss Local Radio where the real action is.

I heard that somewhere too - and likewise can't remember where. Guess I'm just hoping it's not true. I could really do with some clue about what's coming (apart from all the web speculation).

Blimey, in the time it takes me to write a post you lot post the link

Not just me then

I have a very vague memory of the TARDIS needing refuelling before - this could of course be alcohol-fuelled Anyone else remember this occasion?

About the same time they had to keep popping back to London to pick up pints of milk (I'm glad to see that bananas are freely available throughout the galaxy, however)

They are - though The Doctor did plant the plantation in question

Hmmm, just found a forum which has some interesting things about who/what the Bad Wolf is/caused by etc. Here's the link:

Don't click it if you don't want to be spoiled!

Click here for the main forum

What do you think - is there anything in it?

Ummmmmmmm.......
Using my personal and professional experience of NLP (I work in psychiatry) I interpret this to mean that you develop certain neural pathways that will lead you down a certain alley....
What I mean by that is that if you spent the entire series thinking that Bad Wolf is a certain thing, or person, you're going to pick up on all the references that lead you to support the conclusion you already have. A common thinking error, as the CBT training in me would say!
So I interpret the stuff on badwolf.org to mean - don't trust what you've been lead to (or lead yourself to) believe.
Fabulous!

There is nothing in this thread that could not have been added to the existing thread. Why start a new one for the sake of it? It's now going to be impossible to have a proper discussion about tomorrow's episode because the thread is full of pointless ramblings.

Mods - can we delete this thread and start a new one tomorrow?

Oh don't be such a bore - why not start a thread now - does it really matter what thread we are posting in?!!! - no-one has posted in the other one since this one started

As long as there is only one thread on the go does it really matter

I thought the NLP thing on the bad wolf site was a joke at the expense of people who are reading into it abit TOO much?

Well yes - if you've thought all along the series is a massive conspiracy about Bad Wolf then the NLP comment is kind of saying that's all you're ever going to see.
But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you! NLP could also be about a world where everyone's neural pathways have been engineered to follow a certain one! (Hence the "Rose do you understand me now hidden message). Far too much has been invested in Bad Wolf for it to be a minor thing (in my humble opinion). The joy is waiting to find out exactly what it is.
This series has been very carefully planned to make sense to a wide range of viewers from small child to forum dwelling internet scourers (and RTD is one of us, in spirit). So I don't expect to be disappointed!
