Yeah, she'd have needed to have a time machine to do that. Oh.

I thought she made it up to impress Mickey. But I dunno.

Best bit?

The credits.

And why reveal the DALEKS during the NEXT TIME... trailer? It was interesting enough with the BIG BROTHER, THE WEAKEST LINK and WHAT NOT TO WEAR parody set-ups...but why give away the plot now?”

YAY, someone who may of finally voted as a NO NO!

Doctor Who trails seem to give away most of the storylines, but in Bad Wolf, I think there maybe something there that hopefully make everyone surprised (I hope so, otherwise I'm gonna be disappointed!).

It seems Margaret Slitheen has not died.

There was a preview for a programme called (I think) 'Cutting It' before Dr Who started, and I quite clearly saw her there (suited up).

My money's on not seeing the daleks until the last two minutes of the programme! Now that would be classically Dr Who!

Yes that WAS rather disturbing! Scarier than the show by far.

UMM, Family Affairs happens to be very well written, if people give it a chance, certainly better than some other soaps.

Anyway, as a fan of Dr Who too, i must say this was not as bad as the 1st AOL episode, but was one of the weakest of the series - IMO. Overall this series has been superb, Chris Eccleston has added gravitas and portrays the Doctor really well, and has powerful expressions and emotions, both physically and in voice. I am a bit worried how David Tennett will achieve these things, still i guess that's a conversation for another time

I'm a bit biased about David Tennant because I find him somewhat foxy but if you've only seen him in Casanova you might think he's a bit of a one trick pony. He isn't. I have to say that despite finding him easy on the eye, I was devastated that CE is leaving as he is one of great actors around at the moment - but i think DT will eventually be really good (once you get over the initial regeneration shock that always happens)

Thats a totally fair comment i must say I'm normally the sort of person not to pass judgement until i've seen something - that said I did enjoy his performance in Casanova. Dr Who has made me start watching sat night tv for 1st time in ages and tbh, the production values have exceeded all expectations - this can surely only get better since they had a lot to do with the budget for series one, ie building Tardis and set design etc, thats in place now, so budgets can be used in other ways... think BBC already said DrWho is protected from cuts

I'm not much of a DT fan tbh and I'm not looking forward to his portrayal of The Doctor - and the rumours of him wearing a kilt are enough to put me off watching it for good. Still hopefully I'll be proved wrong, he'll have to be bloody brilliant to be better than CE though who I think is superb

Imagine if someone had told you about Tom Baker's scarf and you'd never seen it....it would sound really naff!
DT does have a hard job ahead of him, I'm expecting some serious slagging on these forums when he first takes over, but I wish him well, 'cos I really want DW to continue to be good (and there's an element of "getting under the kilt wishing" in that, but only a tiny bit!)

(onions wife) I watched with the kids and then put them to bed, have just come down after having to calm a hysterical 6 year old boy down, not because he thought this episode was that scary, but it brought back memories of the unquiet dead, he hadn't realised the tardis had sealed the rift again so the gassy peeps wont be after him. Bring on the Daleks!!

True about the scarf lol - I just hate kilts

And I agree about wanting DW to carry on being good - I'm just hoping DT is up to the job

Very good tonight.

I liked the bit in the trailer for the next one,

"You are the weakest Link, Goodbye" "BANG!".

You hate kilts! My brain doesn't compute!!!!!!!!
Mind you, I am a woman who used to date a Nigerian who would wander round Edinburgh in a kilt and an England football top, in his own words "to promote the harmony of nations"!! (Yes, he was a bit eccentric, I was younger )

I quite liked tonights episode, it seemed more drama based than sci-fi. I think if you watch Confidential it makes you understand fully what the episode's objective was, it wasn't meant to be story driven but character driven and I think it worked.
