Yep they did and poll's and games - the comments were ok. I remember them saying like "so who do you want out next discuss" - but this got slated here and a large amount of complaints were logged so it won't be back.
I'm not sure if it was used on Big Brother 5 but it was definitely used on Big Brother 4.

Yeah it was on BB5 and I didn't mind them
I miss reading the texts from the stupid people paying 25p (or more?) a time - good to read during the ever so frequent sound dips.. 
I sincerely hope they don't - there's nothing more annoying than textspeak gibberish scrolling along the bottom of the screen ...
