Ahmet and Dweezil Zappa have announced a European tour playing their father's vast body of work with help from some Sternly Accomplished Special Guests & Other People [Flo & Eddie have been confirmed].

Will anybody be buying tickets? I've got 2 for the Albert Hall concert and I. Can't. Wait.

Indeed. It cost me £110 for two tickets to the Albert Hall concert.

Since I'm too young to have ever seen Zappa live, I'm not complaining. It's the closest I'll ever get.

For those prices, I would expect the man himself to be making an appearance (assuming he can get an exit visa )

Frank Zappa was one of the greatest musicians/guitarists/composers/satarists of his generation.

And he had the best moustache - EVER!

As far as I'm aware the only people who have been confirmed are Flo and Eddie. Otherwise it's all very secretive.

Names that were hinted by the Zappa brothers on the Phil Jupitus breakfast show in a 'these are the special guests we'd want, but we're not saying nuffink' kind of way were Flo and Eddie, George Duke, Terry Bozzio and Stevie Vai.

But when are where... who knows?

Vai is touring around Europe at that time so it's not unlikely.

I hated that stuff he did with Flo and Eddie.
Just read an interview with the Dweez, says the main band will be people who have never played with Zappa before and he will be changing some of the arrangments of the music!!
Think I'll put that ticket on hold till I see the first reviews

C'mon, buy a ticket. They are releasing Trance Fusion too. If this thing proves popular they might even get around to releasing the Roxy DVD.
