Has anyone experience problems copying the new Coldplay CD onto iTunes (not downloading it - actually copying the CD so you can listen to it on the iPod).

The cd carries a copy protection sticker - but I've had other cds carry this and still been able to copy it onto iTunes.

thanks

Mine's not protected, but it seems that a small portion of the UK disks and all of the US ones are. Even so, copy protection is pretty rubbish and they always rip fine on my PC, albeit slower. The other PC can't hack it though, wether it's to do with the CD drives or this one having much more horsepower I'm not sure. Could you try ripping it on a different computer?

The only one i've ever had a problem is The Thrills first album - that one seems to have a more sophisticated version on. Apart from that they've all dropped like flies... flies I tell you... (evil laugh)...

You will find that its the CD drive and software rather than horsepower! Try E.A.C To rip your copy protected Cds!

No. My Iriver is A much better player unlike the ipod that I had before it!

No probs for me, although once I'd bought it, I realised I could have got it cheaper on itunes!! It;s not that good either..
