true......
but this doesn't make sam any less of a boring, vaccous, fake, wannabe with double standards.

we need some perspective here. two horrible people dislike each other. don't make one of them out to be a saint

Fair enough, BUT one has crossed the boundaries of what is acceptable behaviour and it ain't Sam.

Its nothing to do with one being made out to be a saint, we all know that she isnt, we are just not justifying the treatment that Sam has recieved, and the fact that the highlight editing made people dislike her more, when she was 100%, the victim.

i would rather someone hide my belongings than throw water over me when i was sleeping

my point is lesleys actions don't make sam a nice person.

i would rather this thread not follow the same good vs bad formula that many others on this forum have followed

Harsh Words From Presshardy !!

I Think Lesley And Sam Are Harmless And Just Dont Wanna Look Bad On The Tele, So They Are Being Careful And In Lesley's Case Trying To Hard To Impress (bullying Sam Abit).

Leslie is a fat jealous bully and a slag who will do anything for attention. It's so obvious that she has targeted the pretty girls cos of her own insecurities. Sam isnt as bad as you make out, I think she's just a normal girl.

Sam boring - yes, but she's inoffensive. And she's a real wannabe, not a fake one.

Fake is the most overused word in BB fandom.

and I would rather threads didn't keep trying to justify Leslie's actions in however a sly manner.

I don't like Sam, In fact I do not like many HMs this year, but the way some fms seem desperate to divert the awful actions of Leslie and others towards Sam is getting annoying.

how can i be accused of taking sides???
i dont want either girl to do well in big brother or the media careers they will be offered as a result
i think you should re-read the posts with an open mind to the fact that it is possible to dislike 2 people (who dislike each other) equally

I don't think anybody's canonising her. Many of the people who have condemned Lesleh have prefaced their comments by saying that they don't particularly like Sam. I'm indifferent to her, myself.

Personally, though, I would far rather someone throw water over me while I was sleeping than to have to face the treatment I watched 'Team Britney' dish out to Sam two nights ago.

the word you use in your first post 'but' the starting point of any defence of skullduggery, the are more important issues tha any one disliking Sam, and I am sorry for suffering at the hands of a group of bullies she does deserve considerable credit.

The highlights show last night made me feel quite sorry for Sam not dislike her more...and to me Lesley came across as just plain nasty.

I'll agree with this point. Sam remains one of the most vacuous people ever on Big Brother, and whilst she's harmless in comparison to some of the others, I don't want to see people like Roberto, Science or Saskia lose out to her, because she's getting some sort of sympathy vote.

"but", used in the context it is used in the first post, is not the starting point for any defence... feel free to read it again if you don't believe me.... it simply means "regardless of this fact".

sam would deserve credit if she had stood up to the bullying. or indeed displayed any redeeming qualities at all.......but she didn't.... and apologised later. rubbish.

Then you are an exception to the rule, everyone else i have spoken to, has said they cant believe she was getting upset over lipgloss, especially at 3.00 in the morning.

Oh great now Sam is to be condemned for not standing up to a GROUP of bullies and suffering even more.

You seem to steering to the point of saying 'It's all Sam's fault and she got what she deserved'. Well take it from me NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED THE WAY SAM WAS. And that is why it is all the more important to ensure the bullies are sent packing before anyone starts to highlight anyones faults.

I know she was a bit pathetic crying over her make up bag at that hour in the morning but I think she was crying because despite what she says she is quite intimidated by Lesley and it was just getting too much for her....

1. I don't think either Sam or Lesley stands any chance of winning anyway
2. It's not like life, where you'd genuinely have to either put up or shut up. That given, Sam can walk out now straight into the arms of 'Nutz' or 'Zooo' (sic) and make her cash by getting them off sooner rather than later - how does that mean she's lost?
3. As we've all said before it's not like they didn't know what it would be like.
4. It would be interesting to see who they'd 'pick on' next if Sam left

Just a thought

Yes, she knew they had hidden it, otherwise they would have helped her look, there was 6 of them in that room all knew where her bag was and not one of them did a thing to help her, they just watched her cry and laughed about it.

Team Britney said their next target was going to be Saskia. They took offence at her gangs comment that they thought she was one of the favourites to win.

They are definitely asking for trouble, Saskia has friends to back her and she is a strong woman.
