This is wrong and we need to stop people thinking that it is OK to bully, whatever the reason. if your son was 'bullied' as you say then you should be able to differientiate between what happened to sam and genuine cruelty. your son was probably called all manner of things because he is a glass of gin and tonic...like wino or aunt mavis (i'm guessing), perhaps he was assaulted. in any case what happened the other night was: an adult woman was separated from her make-up bag for one hour. what next? shall we bring back hanging ?

Here we are. This is what they DIDN'T show on Channel 4, courtesy of Alrightmate...

"It was not a case of just hiding a bag.

It wasn't a practical joke.

They did not show Craig suggesting "Let's f**k over Sam"
They did not show that they deliberately planned to make Sam cry.
They did not show Makosi and Kemal's involvement.
They did not show Dereks involvement.
They did not show them all laughing at the prospect of making Sam cry.
They did not show Kemal saying "I hope she cries"
They did not show that Sam, Max, Ant, and Saskia were looking around the house for ages.
They did not show the level of the sheer cruelty and sadism behind the bitching.
They did not show Science going to the DR.
They did not show Sam being consoled and extremely upset and distressed crying her eyes out.
They did not show Maxwell confront Craig and co. in the bedroom saying that if they know where it is, then leave it on the bed after he has left the room and nothing more would be said about it.

They did not show that.....Saskia is next to be targeted with this treatment."

I certainly don't equate not doing anything with being a bad person.

I saw your point. It's meaningless without some kind of justification as to why she's a bad person.

Perhaps your philosophy is 'guilty until proven innocent'.

no you have obviously not seen my point......
my point is that being bullied does not automatically make her a nice person.... it doesn't make her a bad person either....in my opinion she is all of the things i mentioned in my first post...i never said she was a bad person....

why can't people read these threads?????

Are you the type of person, that if they see a person being beaten up in the playground, you stop to watch and laugh?

oh good... this thread is not about whether the bullying was right or wrong...or whether the bullying was bullying. there are lots more threads for that

God this is the last post I am gonna respond to on this subject because it has got SO ridiculous now, and my head is gonna explode with the bizzareness of it all.

A playground, involving children being victimised, is totally different to Big Brother, it is a ridiculous analogy.

The point of Sam being bullied was not a one off incident with the make-up bag, and when you are picked on by one other person you can often deal with it, but with a group picking on you, then it is different. Why should my son be bullied because he is clever and Sam be bullied because she is pretty. It's just the same as Lesley being bullied because she is fat. Bullying is bullying whether it is physical or mental, whether you are a child or an adult.

How is it though?

Sam has parents and people that care for her. How do you think they feel? Pretty much the same as a parent watching their child being bullied I would say!

I think Lesley was a bit harsh with Sam but the reaction is so OTT. I personally wouldnt call it bullying (and i have been bullied when i was about 10..not that this makes me or anyone else an expert), just a prank that got out of hand, as did the Bin episode with Science and Maxwell, the water issue with Derek who was trying to sleep, and numerous others, like Roberto and stripping Makosi naked when she had come on! I thought that last one was much worse than hiding a make up bag actually.
I do like Lesley, i think she's alright but like most girls she has got a bitchy side which we saw. Its not right but i just think all this it totally OTT now.

I agree...but this is on the basis that I did not see the live streaming.

At the end of the day, Sam is not confrontational enough to handle this kind of "humour". They should leave well alone.

I think they will feel pretty shocked when they see her going on about how horny she is and how much she wants a shag!

So she is not allowed to talk about her private life? That justifies the bullying does it?

IT WASN'T BULLYING. it was an unkind trick. from what i can determine you have heightened emotions brought about by the fact that your son is bullied in school and so hysterically point the finger at anyone that might be seen to do anything remotely akin.

Yes that is true. I did feel sorry for Sam, don't get me wrong, and i thought they went too far but not to the point where i am now calling for the main instigator's heads. Not one hosuemate has really covered themselves in glory IMO, they have all looke like idiots and "bullies" if thats the word we are using at one point or another.

I bet she was the same at school? and I am not hysterical, it happened years ago, he is now 15 and 6ft 1in so they don't bully him anymore. I do not like girls like Lesley, taking an automatic dislike to woman who are pretty. Jealous girl?

at which point did pairofpants claim it justifies the bullying?..
this is where a lot of these FMs are going wrong with regards to debating their point....its either not reading the posts or just reading what you want to read.

and i don't like girls like sam who pout and preen and uphold a fantastical vision of womanhood...pretending they just wanna f**k anyone with a cock and all the time.
it is not jealousy to find such men's-women distasteful...and i completely comprehend lesley's vendetta.

Kids in a playground = innocent victims.

Very aware contestant on a game show which delights in human conflict = not innocent victim.
