I definately welcome them switching up nominations but i don't like it how it is all kept so secretive.

For example Vanessa should have got her reprimand over the house speakers with everyone sat together on the sofas. Then instead of quoting her discussing of the nominations they should have just shown it on the plasma screen.

That would be fair game considering she broke a rule.

Vanessa was singled out but I thought nominations had been openly discussed by a fair few of them.Didn't a whole group agree about Sam?

Whilst I've no regard for any of these wannabees,I don't think Vanessa particularly deserves to be singled out as the main offender.

It's easier to single out one person though because that's an automatic smoking gun. A group situation would actually dilute the effect because you cannot effectively punish an entire group.

Besides, they just wanted a clear cut example from an individual as a basis for running this opportunistic money grabbing angle.

With Enditall, money always talks the loudest. At the end of BB4 or BB5, I posted up financial figures from a Guardian article related to Endemol's rise. You can expect that crap to have continued on an upward trend.

Forget she was made a scapegoat, so show all of them.

Oh but then the innoncent would question why they had to be punished for those in the wrong.

i think the reason vanessa was singled out was that vanessa used her nomination of sam as a gift for the bullygirlgang leader:

Vanessa slipped up during a bitch fest with Lesley this afternoon when she revealed she would be voting for Sam.

When Lesley accused Vanessa of being best friends with Sam despite this morning's screaming match, she quickly tried to win back favour.

"It doesn't mean I'm friends with her," explained Vanessa of her chin-wag with Sam. "I was just bored s*******. I won't talk to her at all. I'd rather watch paint dry than hurt you."

Lesley shrugged and sighed, "Fair enough, I have no control over you, I can't say to you don't talk to her." Vanessa soon sensed a bigger apology was in order.

"I do not like Sam," she said emphatically. "She's not my friend and I'm nominating her today."

so you see big brother had no problem in scapegoating vanessa for this because vanessa was taking part in probably the worst campaign of vindictiveness ever seen in big brother, so who's going to mind?

apart from those sad people desperate for a flash of fat les' spaniel ears.

ha ha ha ha ha.

Looking at the BBonline poll it is alarming that those two have tiny percentages of the vote. It might be the ultimate Bb joke. In BB4 they gave the winner a story which wasn't even consistent and they sold it. In Bb5 they put a story in as the winner and milked it . This time they might laugh themselves silly as Maxwell and Saskia, who they cast as slob and Jordan - a London version of the royle family, win in a house of really really strange people.

As much as I hate Maxwell, I'd like to see Saskia in the final, just to prove all those people wrong who say "the normal person will never win BB again."

i want to know why evict maxwell and Saskia they my favorites with Sam . i like to thank vanessa for allowing the chance to get rid of the bitchy thugs who bully sam and the public can get rid of any of them. preferably someone i don't like

edit: if big brother to do a extreme twist cause of nominations next time maybe automatic eviction at end of week or evited there and then or put yourself up for eviction, force a rerun of nominations with told clearly give other reasons then those said before. expose to the house via sound the diary room with the guilty people there still loads of things the could do. i though of those when bored watching sleeping housemates BB Aus i think for abit

(IMO...) Endemol have been intelligent here. (including wider -C4- audience) RE: Sam!

They should make it be evicted or pick someone to be evicted in your place, but have the whole house know...

in regards to my internet access yes it the JANET academic line uni uses i a student living in student accomodation thatys is linked to the high speed link that all universities use (during the day revision and in the breaks BB and other things). i used some ADSL bandwidth sites and get results thats 3 times as much as what they say for 3mb connections most of these is adsl.org.uk i think i used once.
another thing about boradband UK Online and Bulldog Broadband both have 8 mb and Bulldog service is quite cheap aparently. i so going to miss seconds to download 120mb files. back to 1mb July 1st

that would be a good idea. evict someone. first couple of times they could evict the guilty housemate then get after a while let the guilty housemate who ever it is choose who going to go for there wrongs. i see a standby list of 100 or more cause the amount a housemate discusses a normination we be having daily eviction and replacement housemates also the series could of ended by day 2 as well

I am pleased with the move. Ever since I started watching BB I have been saying that the public should have the chance to get one or two of their most disliked HMs out within the first few weeks. After all we're the ones paying to watch it and if any of the HMs are making it a complete pain to watch then I am all for being able to eliminate them.

I would still like to try the experiment of the public nominating - the two most voted HMs are put before the rest of the household to make the final decision between them.

In a way I think it's fairer what with their awful editing to let people have a go at getting out the real pains.

Not sure how'd they know that voting was down this year, there's only been one public vote so far.

I think it's a money making ploy. If they just wanted to punish Vanessa why not put her up for eviction beside Sam and Derek?

I instantly thought the same thing last night. Endemol are, once again, manipulating the vote-will we ever get a mormal one?

The main reason for the mass nomination is so that the viewers can take action on the bullying issue (if the majority decree it) without them (producers) having to deal with it. Vanessa gave them a valid excuse to do it. It is a coward's way out for Endemol/BB as they are sidestepping an issue that should be dealt with publicly. They fully expect Lesley to go on the basis of her deplorable behaviour, but they should state clearly that she is being punished for bullying and, frankly, should be evicted anyway.

To add another aspect to the plot, does anyone think Endemol are looking for their 'chosen one'.

Now I have never really been an advocate of this theory, despite the excelent evidence provided (I'm too naive and like to think the best of people).

BUT they have put a large number of HMs up very early this year, heck I can remember when it was weeks before more than 2 were ever up. And I do remember that up to the large number of nominees that arose last year there was a lot of suggestions for the 'chosen one', until thw army task when MOST of the HMs were up for eviction and BANG Nadia was from then on THE chosen one. How they reached that from the voting of a large number of nominees I dunno, but many will have differing theories, but all will agree the main reason for a chosen one is to produce votes and hence revenue.

So this weekend will the eggheads be hard at the figures and come Monday the evidence of the chosen one will be evident.

BTW good to see you can still rely on Christine Hamilton to tow the line of those who pay, I mean could there have been a better advert to vote many times for all those you dislike to keep the ones you want in. Just nice to see you can rely on some people.
