Yep, Sam's trying to put a brave face on in the one place that you can speak directly to the viewers while Lesley is either:
a) showing the insecurity of a bully away from her sheep;
b) putting on a show for the public.

I'll say again that I'm no fan of Sam's. She's shallow and self-absorbed, but this does not excuse the treatment she is receiving. Lesley is jealous and spiteful.

I DID vote Lesley, but I agree with many of the posters who have pointed out reasons to keep her. However, one BIG reason keeps me wanting to redial...

...imagine the look on the face of the HM who goes on Friday on realising they are the most unpopular person out of THAT shower. I don't think Sam deserves that after the vitriol she's already had... but seeing Lesley taken down a peg or two would be ace.

You need HMs that are interesting, that provoke debate, that entertain, that play the game in an engaging way. What you don't need is a house full of absolute stereotypical extremes (which they have done this year in the hope of Fight Night II) as nothing will get resolved. That was the first mistake.

Then by ignoring the bullying, they are allowing the tense atmosphere to get further polluted by the hateful venom that Lesley spouts continually.

I'm all for entertaining HMs. You can be bitchy without being seriously mean. Look at Brian Dowling.”

Great post. Totally agree with you.

So go with your conscience of vote Lesley out.

sadly she has no self-awareness at all and will no doubt explain away her eviction by the old classics "everyones jealous of me innit?" and "they dont like me cause im honest" as opposed to the real reason which is of course that shes nothing but pondlife”

Hear Hear!!

I would also like to add that Saskia choosing to "pick" on Maxwell, is actually the first bit of humour we have had this year. We don't need anymore sh1t stirring, we have plenty of that. Its fun we need.

Plus there are many more interesting characters in there who actually have a purpose other than to be nasty, bully and bitch. Characters that encourage debate, play the game well, and create tension.

Name one?? the best BBs have always been those that have a good mixof drama and laughter. This hasn't been drama but a lot of shouting and 13 weeks of non stop bitching will adle the brain

why dont we just vote either derek or sam , as WE know they had the most nominations and was up for eviction this friday
anyway , before the whole lot of them were up.

Well said maxcherry...lesley is one of the best housemates this year and it would be ludicrous to evict her at such an early stage in the game...the best bet of getting out a boring one is sam so keep voting...i have convinced my friends family and workmates to vote her out so all we need now is some patience and confidence...
...bye sam...

the excuse of keeping in lesly to keep things spiced up is a no go

there are plenty of bitches in there to fill any kind of void she would leave

get lesley the toe rag out

If Lesleh was a cartoon baddie like Nasty Nick or Jade, I might agree. But she is genuinely vile, and will most likely commit and act of violence against Sam if she's not booted this week.

Sam will almost certainly be gone next week anyway. I think she is boring but it will be far more entertaining to see Lesley go out of all 12 and the reactions of all her buddies who think they are loved by the public for their non stop, relentless bitching. There is more than enough conflict in that house as it is. They all cause conflict, not just Lesley, but she and Craig are so obsessive with their stirring and bitching that there is absolutely no fun in the house and nothing but negativity in the words and thoughts of the housemates at the moment and I do not find that even remotely entertaining.

I know a lot of people voting for Lesleh to go, and these are people that only watch the 10pm show.

I can understand people wanting to keep in the 'big' characters, but this year most of them could be described as 'big'

That's the problem really, the big characters only work when there is a balance and other people to redress that balance and hence show the big characters for what they are.

This year it seems to be 'who can shout/bitch/argue the loudest/most BB'

I would love Lesleh to go, for many reasons, the main one being her unjustified bullying of Sam. A close second though is the fact that with Lesleh leaving the house dynamics will change again, that won't happen if Sam goes, the shouting/bitching/arguing will just get more intense, as the bullies will feel justified.

I disagree: I'd much rather watch Saskia and Max having a conversation about football or girl's nights out (OK so flirting but at least conversing without being nasty or bitchy). Let's remember why the original BB was a success. Because people like people watching. It's about human behaviour. I want to get an insight into personalities. I couldn't give a damn about the performing and the fights.

We do not need Lesley to stay for the reasons the thread-starter has given.Mee-kosi,Kemal,Derek[and others] can more than provide us with the plotting and tension needed in the house.Lesley is as unpleasant a person as has ever been in BB with Craig no better.
Their disease must be wiped out.
Jason and Victor are saints compared to this vile duo.

I've never seen so much mass hysteria over a makeup bag and a bit of bitching between 2 girls. People should get this into perspective, BB isn't a programme to teach us morals and standards, hopefully we have them already. It's entertainment and in my professional opinion there is no real bullying going on, but if you lot want to blow it out of all proportion so you can take the moral high ground or use it to spew your venom on Lesley then carry on...bloody drama queens.

Calm down flower. Its only a commercial.

 Manipulating votes?

I'm sorry I didnt realise that I was A, a housemate, or B, in a position to manipulate people.

Vote out Sam or Vanessa. I thought people knew by now that the interesting housemates have to stay. I know Lesley is a bitch but at least she is fun to watch.

They'll keep her in because they can't fit her through the door.

Well at least she is causing fights which is more fun than watching Sam dance around naked or Vanessa sitting doing nothing.

I would hardly call Lesley interesting. With her it's what you see is what you get. She doesn't have the intelligence to have any hidden depths. I'm not sure about Sam but I think she is quite mysterious, which is nice. A growth in her confidence could do wonders for her.

But that's just it - she isn't. Jade was fun to watch coz she was so thick and came out with all manner of nonsense (a bit like Craig does). Nasty Nick was fun to watch coz he was a cartoon baddie who most of the HMs were on to. But Lesleh is just an extremely nasty jealous bully who has every intention of making Sam's (and probably Vanessa's now) life a misery. That isn't entertaining. It's horrible and upsetting to see

NormalY i'm all for voting out the quiet ones, but Lesley is just a nasty piece of work, and needs to be taught a lesson by getting evicted.

I`ve just heard they`re building a Tower Crane next to the BB house.
That must mean Lesleh`s getting evicted.....they`re gonna whinch her out from the garden!

..Source?...my imagination, it`s a joke, before the flames start
