I get Sam - 4.8
Lez - 1.67

Have you got different settings to the default? Yours seem to be the same as mine -1.

Thanks very much and thanks to Eaglea also.

Eagle - on Betfair, if it's showing 2.00, that means evens, i.e. 1/1. 3.00 is 2/1, so on and so forth. 1.67 means 4/6 (or, in different parlance, 6/4 on). So, if you put £100 on Lesley to be evicted at that price, you'd win £67.

Presumably this is the Euro influence - god help us all, whats wrong with 33/1, 10/4, 100/30 - I understand that!

I took my figures from the fractional setting on Oddschecker . If I change it to the decimal setting I get the same figures as you.

It's actually a bit easier with the decimals. Just multiply your stake by the decimal price and hey presto - you have your return.

I'll take that under advisement... I like proper odds, same as I like pounds and ounces, miles per gallon, inches, etc. OK i'm an old git but an old git who understands proper odds!

Sorry off thread

You would be suprised, a gamble is a gamble and with time to spare research is easy

True. Most of my income comes from betting, and my most profitable betting has always been reality TV. In 2003, Cameron actually made me "rich"
