(Come up and see me) Make Me Smile - Re-released
Hi all,
Has anyone else heard this? I am a huge fan of the original and think this new one is really good. I'm trying to find it to download at the moment. A freind says it's currently #250 in the midweek chart with 51 downloads. Jim P. |

Good song. Shame about the placing.

Is it the original Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel version or a rerecording by them or someone else?
The original is a classic.

It's Steve Harley who has done the new recording.
I was ignoring someone on the phone when it was on the radio and didn't catch whether it was him on his own or with the Cockney Rebel - I think it was 'Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebel'. |

If you can make it to Bristol in July, Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebel are playing at the Ashton Court festival on the 16th. Tickets are £6

I saw him at the Isle of Wight festival (you can see me a couple of times on the DVD of his set!)
I'm also seeing him in York in September I think. He clashes with either Coldplay or British Sea Power at Glastonbury, so I won't be seeing him there. jack |
