I'm just watching BBBM on ch4 just as background noise and it strikes me once again why I avoid it like the plague usually, Russell is an obnoxious idiot who needs a haircut. He is clearly on speed or something, someone tranquilize him. I can't believe that people have the cheek to criticise Davina, when this t****r is on TV.

Using words like
Spoiler
tosser
and
Spoiler
prick
really isn't a good idea I'd edit if I were you before a mod sees.

He's very variable, and it partly depends if you're in an irritable mood or not. Sometimes I'd watch him and think, "hmm, that was quite funny"; other times, he was so annoying I'd have to switch over.

Cheers for the tip and, I've censored the post, although, I and many others have used these words in posts before with no comment from mods, thanks again though

I enjoyed his programme last year, but this time, he's consistently AWFUL!

I can't stand him myself. Sort of would want to watch it, as it includes some unseen footage as well. But his manner is totally unbearable for me.

He's a bit annoying and really unfunny. I also don't think he needs to take the piss out of someone for saying 'innit'. Wow - imagien that Russell. You had to deal with an actual cockney.

He literalises everything anyone says to try and get a laugh.

If someone says "Ive had enough of her" he will say "oh, well, when did you HAVE her, to have enough?" or some stupid retort similar.

I like him too. He comes out with some nonsense, but is also frequently funny. Compared to Dermot and Davina, he's pure gold. Then again, compared to that pair, so are Little and Large

I've never watched BBBM specifically because of him, can't stand the bloke.

...what cack

Russell Brand is by far and away the best (the only?) reason to have anything to do with the snoozefest that is this years BB.....lightening quick wits and a frame of reference that leaves other presenters in the shade - may go over the heads of some, but thats your problem not his

...makes BBLB look about as riveting as good morning with Anne and Nick

How on earth did he get the job? The show is unwatchable. The only thing he's appeared in that was watchable is the trailer for his program, and that was because he didn't speak very much. Why is it that those employed to be amusing are so rarely so?..... I think I will apply for a job at endemol, qualification and talent don't really seem to have much bearing on things there.

His girly hair make's him even more annoying.

It's quite funny because this time I like him more than last year, I thought it must be due to the format they used this time round that has made me warm to him more. Last year after Kitten had been on it, I never watched it again.

Well, how on earth did those personality free simpletons McCall and O'Leary gig their gigs? Yet they did.

I used to hate him when he did the MTV Dance chart but now I find him really funny. He's really surreal and a bit bonkers, it's all good fun. Beats Kate Thornton or Ben Shepard or any of the other generic cardboard cut outs they bring out to present these things.

I like him. As other posters have said, he is very surreal and I love his quick wit.

Took me a while to get to like him, but if you look past the shouting and fast voice, and listen to some things he comes out with, he is very clever.

I think he makes the show.

Has an irritating habit though sometimes of talking over guests or audience members when they haven't quite finished their bit, but apart from that Brill

Russell is a true TV presenting great and I love his alternative style of delivery. You won't see anyone else like him on TV. It was a stroke of genius by whoever had the balls to give him the gig. As time goes by, more and more people will warm to him; he's definitely an aquired taste.
