Can anyone clarify why exactly a few of them are up so late for?

Late night arguments, of course. Craig and Leslie were on a roll. Probably wound up too tightly to sleep now. Derek woke up early to snatch a cup of cornflakes (don't ask...), but seems to be asleep now. Saskia will have her ankle examined shortly. That should cover it.

Lesley is awake because she intends to sleep all day, so the public will vote her out. It worked for Mary she said. It's going to work for her no matter what she does.

Craig is still up because he might miss something/someone to bitch to.

Derek was up to eat cornflakes from a mug and had a quickie bitching session with Craig and Lesley about saskia's ankle.

Saskia is getting up to see the doctor about her bad ankle and to see if it needs an x-ray.

Roberto was up until an hour ago, fretting about the food situation.

Science was also up until 90 minutes or so ago. It seems the bitching poison has finally caught up with him and he had a little of it too.

I think that's all we have seen recently, unless someone can add some more.

I see I missed a 'keep me in' streak from Makosi and Sam...just how predictable was that?

There's me...watching the live stream EVERY night since day 1 through 'til at least 4am...and just for a change I had a drink with a few friends and missed some action and more bitching...oh well...sure there'll be plenty more 'keep me in' action today too!

Quick WHATM while I'm posting: Saskia is just up, assisted by Maxwell to the diary room, while Craig 'power naps' on the sofa...cut to ads on E4.

Any ideas on why the doctor is seeing Sas so early in the am? Surely that'll cost BB more than calling in a doctor during normal working hours?

Good question! My guess is that they wanted this out of the way before "waking hours." Less cynically, perhaps she's in a lot of pain and the injury could be serious.

I'm guessing it's because if he says she needs an x-ray, then she will go very early and less chances of her being in contact with anyone, so she can be returned to the house.

I don't think Saskia is the sort of person who would play for some sort of pathetic sympathy vote; I think it's real.

She just said her ankle is swollen more but not bruised, so I can't see how she can fake that.

Leslie wanders in from her shower to find Saskia and Maxwell. No microphone on Leslie, but I like to pretend she's reciting Shakespeare.

For what it's worth, I don't think she's faking this.

Craig, Lesley and Science (a little) and possibly Roberto seem to think she is doing this because she is up for eviction and wanting public sympathy.

So I gathered. Vanessa might be in the disbelief camp as well. I did hear Science claim he'd seen her walking on the foot during last night's paranoid whinefest.

Max is being very sweet, being there supporting her.

Sweet he may be being, but he is also without a mic and I am hoping for BB to tell him to stick it on soon.
