Guesses at tonight's Highlights editing? (9th June)
Gavin-

If tonight's highlights show is fair, it will go:

1) Lesley bullies Sam more blatently than ever in the garden, Max sticks up for her.
2) Lesley is warned by Big Brother about threatening behaviour.
3) Lesley "makes up" with Sam; but really it's Lesley and Craig digging into Sam's insecurities; Craig saying that "other people" want to see Lesley and Sam fight, suggesting it's Max and Ant.
4) Sam and Makosi streak around the garden.
5) Lesley needs to put the attention back on her, so she shows off her PVC policewoman outfit.
6) Sam cooks, and it's hilariously bad.
7) Lesley bitches about how Sam won't let her try on her shoes.
8) Once Sam has gone to bed, Lesley and Craig insult her and do "spaz" impressions of her, and say they will urinate in her shoes.

But the way it will probably be edited:

1) Sam is mouthy in the garden, and Lesley retaliates.
2) Lesley chooses to "make up" with Sam because she doesn't want to fight any more, and everything is settled.
3) Sam streaks around the garden because she's a slut.
4) Sam cooks a meal, which is so bad people complain they have been maliciously poisoned.
5) Sam refuses to let her new best friend Lesley wear her shoes, proving she still carries a grudge.

The wonders of editing

I so hope its the first one. Surely they will have to show Max and anthony sticking up for Sam and then people will have to realise how bad it has got. I can't see how C4 can miss that off the show.

Interesting to see Master Ozzys preview of the show later today.

Dermot was very critical of Lesleh and sympathetic to Sam yesterday so I think today's highlights will show the whole bullying storyline. That way it looks as if Endemol are in control rather than letting it run on for over a week without intervening.

If it doesn't I might even think about complaining - they won't take any notice but they do have to answer all the letters!

The second seems close but also:

They might show a clip of Fat Lez crying from four days ago after Sam retaliates verbally.

When Fat Lez appears to make-up they might overlay it with some treacley music from Dido.

Just before Sam does the streak the will probably show a load of blokes in macks at a kiosk.

As Sam is cooking they might inter-cut a clip of maggots eating a dead horse.

When Fat Lez asks to wear Sam’s shoes they will flash up a picture of a tramp with rags tied around his feet walking in the snow, just before Sam says no – and they will sound edit on “you bitch”.

I think Endemol should show that they have to deal with bullying behaviour and not sweep it under the carpet so they might be honest and show Lesley being reprimanded for threatening behaviour. It's the worst ever behaviour I've seen on Big Brother. If they fiddle with the editing tonight, then their broadcasting morals should be questioned at much higher levels.

I have been worried about the editing but given she has actually been warned about her behaviour they will have to show the warning and the behaviour leading up to itsurely? Its crucial to the programme dynamic.

Yes I really cannot see how they cannot show it. It was the main news story yesterday. I think it will be the final nail in Lesley's coffin after tonights show.

The bullying and bitching is being reported in the national press now, so even if endemol want to sweep it under the carpet people will still have heard about some of whats going on and I don't think they have much option but to show it.

I think they will ignore it and use the highlights programe to feature all the HMs EXCEPT Sam & Lesley, to drum up more votes. People aren't going to be bothering to vote if they know it's only a two-horse race and care little either way which of the two go, so long as their fave is safe. I would anticpate lots of muck raking footage of Derek, Kemal, Makosi, Saskia and Max, designed to frighten the GBP into voting someone else out just in case it helps save whichever one it is they support.

What they will say in justification is that they knew either Sam or Lesleh would be gone and didn't want to make their eviction experience any more harrowing than it was likely to be anyway.

Maybe they will finally show us the truth but they haven't done so far - so no real reason to suspect they will tonight.
