does anyone agree that he is just an arrogant opinonated bully?

he spends his time giving people grief over nothing, almost every argument i can think of was started by him, or has him at the core, and he always has his head in a freaking rule book, looking for ways to control things and be the boss.

he just bugs me.

get him out i say!

i don't find him a bully at all. he's intelligent, warm, passionate, and actually looks at the bigger picture unlike most of them. i find him to be very diplomatic most of the time actually.

No, he is a bit of a P.I.T.A. I agree, but there are far worse folk to get rid of first imho
Roberto will keep for a while...

If I were in there with that bunch of attention seeking, self obsessed characters I 'd be the same.

At least he has an opinion and isn't afraid to show it. Not like some of the other sheep followers.

Well said! I think he'll be out next week, if not this one though

It's difficult to tell with Roberto. Maybe it's the company, maybe that's the way he is.

He is VERY impatient and his communicative skills are lacking to say the least. If the buck stops at him, he's happy. If anyone disputes his authority, he can be very childish.

Roberto is the kind of bloke who would make a great dad but a bloody annoying friend.

He's right to suggest that Kemal actually LOOK for something properly before fussing and asking where it is.

He's not a bully.. come on. You can see the guy isn't malicious - he just tends to go on and on, a bit like certain other HM's do (Science).

i agree Tanisia. he is a mental case. also pretty vile. he will deteriorate as the days go on too. its a shame to see such a brain be so dedicated to egotism and nastiness. he also has some sort of self-humiliation problem (im sure theres a word for that). likes to get touchy with people.

he will possibly stay around cos there are so many vile characters this year, although next week could be derek and rob as the 2 noms (maybe saskia too).

a very weak, tortured soul

IMHO

I feel sorry for Roberto, he gets frustrated quicker than some of the others, i think this in part is due to English not being his first language, and he can't always express himself fully. He's also been stuck in a house full of kids, and with his own background (especially being in the army and learning the respect and rules that comes with that) it's made it really hard for him to just put up with a lot of the cihldish attitudes to simple, basic needs of the house.

I think he's essentially a nice guy, but the moaning and bitchiness of the others seems to have rubbed off on him. If I have to hear him bang on about food and the shopping list once more, I'm gonna go mental.

I think that Kemal's aggressive attitude towards Roberto is unnecessary. If Kemal stopped and listened to Roberto for two seconds before shouting him down and attempting to make a non-existent point he would come across as less of a drama queen.

I agree. And just a while back he has Science shouting at him for not taking the task seriously and he was the only one who did and that's why they failed. Did people not complain that Roberto was taking it too seriously? Roberto actually had to ask Sceince to stop shouting at him.

The guy can't win whatever he does..in or out of the house.

The HM's are purposely stopping him from lightening up IMO because if he did, then he'd be a threat!!

I think it's significant too that Kemal is about the youngest and Roberto's about the oldest in there. I'd say Kemal has an issue with Roberto's perceived wisdom and experience and yet thinks he has more of either. I wasn't aware of age differences inside the house during bb4 particularly, but looking in to this one I'd say it is an important difference.

I don't find him a bully either. I think Rob tends to be a bit opinionated, but then don't we all at times. Quite a few of this years housemates are very opinionated. I put that down to Rob, and I am not being or trying to be discrimitive or anything here, finding it hard to communicate at times with the other housemates and thus they get the wrong end of the stick. Although it's telling that the only nom he got this week was from the spoilt little twerp Kemal. I think Rob is beginning to intergrate in the group a bit better now, well I hope so anyway

Roberto will infuriate women viewers when BB concentrate more on his derogatory putdowns of women. Last night was a classic, when he was laying into Sam and said "woman!" at the end of it. That's when she went AWOL and screamed at him "don't call me WOMAN like that!"

He is a chauvinist pig, as the phrase goes. Earlier he'd told Makosi to "go and put some makeup on".

The same attitude is what finished off Tickle (remember they showed his woman-knocking comments about an hour before the lines closed when he was up with Cameron?).

My missus was incensed, and she's not exactly Germaine Greer!

Hey Cameron, you won a nice big bet for me in BB4. Thanks!

But they all have bad sides.

I think even the most ardent supporters of Roberto, like me, will totally admit he is opinionated and goes on alot and sometimes has an unfortunate turn of phrase. But to be perfectly honest, there is not one HM in there who doesn't have one fault or another...I mean the reasons which Kemal nominated him for..the guy could have been talking about himself!

But even Roberto's bad points are better than some of the HM's goodpoints! And that is why I like him. And no, not just because he is easy on the eye before someone says that to me or any other girls on here for the billionith time!

I have been to Italy alot, and the guys there are passionate, my other half works for an all Italian firm..he is the only Brit there, and they are a bit 'male' in that they love to be looked after by women and like women to be women. (Without trying to be stereo typical).

Roberto isn't British...so he doesn't behave as the Brits do...there are two totally different cultures at play here which I wish some people would take into account. Look how passionate Nadia was last year (I didn't like her..but she was fiery and passionate) because she is Portugese....alot of this comes from that culture. And she won....she didn't get alot of this side of her character moaned about like Roberto does.

Oh and before anyone says it...I know that Brits can be fiery and passionate too..I am just generalizing a bit but hope you get what I mean, without anyone jumping down my throat about any of this!
