Now wait a couple of minutes for the next "yeah, but..." Forum bully, sorry anti-Lesley poster to justify their actions...

People are advocating booeing and egg throwing etc, but whats the difference between acting like that, and acting like she has to Sam?”

The vile comments on here about Lesley is disgusting.
I am not a Lesley fan, I don't think she is a very nice person, but there is no need for the venom posted about her here.

She is obviously an insecure, jealous girl but that is not reason enough to victimise her. That is just another form of bullying!!

What is she going to think when she comes on here and reads all the comments.

Is it Ok for people on here to bully her?

Two wrongs don't make a right, and I don't think there is any need for people to constantly refer to her as fat and ugly. It is uncalled for.”

But its alright for you to call Maxwell vile......and Sam and Saskia stupid as I saw in another post.

What you have here, is one set of people seeing a girl bullied, and another set of people who see that girl as deserving it. There's a few in betweens, with some thinking sam is not too great but not liking Lesley's behaviour either.

Both camps claim black is white, both use the sort of language that riles the other camp. it always happens, whatever the reality show is.

It doesn't equate in the slightest to what has happened in the house. Every HM there ever was will have been slagged or liked by someone.”

I am not defending Lesley for one second. I don't particularly like her or Sam. They BOTH have very unlikable qualities imo.

I think Lesleys behavoiur is unacceptable, I woudlnt' and couldn't defend it.

My point is that alot of the people slagging Lesley off, are using an agressive horrid tone, similar to the way that Lesley refers to Sam.

I just think it is a double standard to criticize Lesleys behaviour and then to emulate that very behaviour to demonize her.

Bullies deserve a taste of their own medicine. Once they know how it feels, the chances are they'll think twice about similar behaviour in the future.

Being booed and seen as a figure of hate by a mob publicly, and probably for a good few weeks if not more is a taste of her own medicine. Its far worse IMO. And the people rooting for it are no better.

I cant agree with that. Bullying is always wrong. Telling the truth is not wrong however.

Lesley is vile to Sam - Fact
Lesley is Northern - Fact
Lesley is Fat - Fact
Lesley wears slutty clothes - fact
Lisley is Ugly - opinion

So to call her a "Vile Fat Northern Slut" is factual. However calling her ugly would make it bullying.

IMO

So its ok to bully as long as its behind someones back. Nice

What annoys me about the double standards on these forums is people assume they are better than a bully because they are vaguely literate and can string a few words together. Hiding behind a brain is the same as hiding behind a fist - youre still a bully.

Where does race enter this?

I am unaware that there is any law that makes Yorkshire a race?

I know what you're getting at but saying something nasty but factual does not make it right and can still be classes as bullying. What if Lesley genuinley believes all she says about Sam is factual? Would it still make it bullying?

sorry lesley bings everything on herself

first she attacks the others as soon as they walk through the door with comments about her boobs

she says she wouldnt get her baps out for the lads..she did that on day one

she constantly says how good looking she is and how she is stunning...(she isnt bad looking)

she is always putting someone down

what are fms supposed to do ignore all of her comments and pretend she is a nice person

i have not said anything on here i would not say to her face

bullies are villifide thats whats happened on this forum

rant over.

There is a difference with Lesley. I am very careful with what I say about people. I do not threaten nor do I accuse and I remain factual.

With regards Lesley, Everyone has a right to say what they believe about others. So on its own, if Lesley believes what she is saying, then it is not necesarally bullying. She has the right to say those things. It becomes bullying when she starts to threaten the other person and uses her "perceived facts" to back up her threats. Also when she uses these "percieved" facts to get other people on her side in order to put the other person down.

So thats where I see the difference.

Self righteousness is what happens on this forums. And too much of it. Anyone would think all of you are perfect.

Ive bullied. Ive been bullied. Nobody is perfect.

I do think Lesley takes it too far sometimes but i wouldnt call it bullying personally, just bitching (which is nasty too), but at one point or other Im sure we have all bitched about someone we havent liked. Mary made a point yesterday of saying there are things we dont see , that Sam gives it back alot too.
I think nothing justifies a hate campaign and a booing frenzy from a baying mob unless of course they were actual dangerous criminals or something.

Have I attacked lesley as a person (unlike many) - No
Resorted to name calling - No
Tried to be rational about not watching behaviour I find unacceptable - Yes

Again, I don't particularly like Sam, but lesley's behaviour is unacceptable, has been downplayed, and if the GBP keep her in, I don't want to watch, as is my choice.

If you want to watch people bullying, fine - just don't expect me to come for the ride....

If that's what you want

I'd rather see some more complex and interesting interactions and arguments.

You sound like Draccy Stallone! Look they're all vapid, exhibitionist wannabees in there, who would probably crush their own mother's windpipe for fame. You are not gonna find any interesting interactions on that level. It is all about bitchiness, hostility and being the winner.

Sorry back to topic....
