i thought kate thornton was rubbish and awful as the presenter!

I liked Kate, thought she did a good job in leiu of A & D

Kate is brilliant. I did prefer her when she presented Pop Idol Extra on ITV2 though, but as a presenter she more than cuts the mustard. She's definitely coming back.

yepp i think she was great at presenting and even though she struggled a bit with the crowd, at least she was relaxed with them . And also i didnt really like ant and dec on pop idol that much, i don't know why, i think they have great stage presence but it's just i can't pin point what i actually didn't like about them in PI

I also agree. Kate adds to the humorous moments on the show. Remember when kate said to Simon, " are you feeling common, confident? Simon replied, Am I feeling common. No, not really.

she was really rude she used to moan at rowetta when she was giving hugs!! that annoyed me!

I'm glad she is returning and will perhaps be slightly more relaxed the second time.She certainly had a very daunting task holding together a live show and perhaps we should give her a bit more credit for that.

I much preferred her more relaxed approach in Pop Idol Extra when a whole lot more of her personality could be revealed.

I thought she was quite good. Glad shes back for series 2.

She is bloody awful. She didn't interact well with anybody at all.

Kate Thornton was absolutely great on Pop Idol extra, much better than Ant and Dec on the main show. Then she got moved to prime-time, Big Mistake!

the fact she takes too long to "create" a touch of suspense,

the fact that she cant control a crowd,

the fact that she tries to flirt with simon cowell but ends up looking like a tw*t,

the fact that she shouts into her mic

and the fact that shes a stupid bimbo that needs to get back to table dancing and let the people how know how to present, present.

I thought she did well at controlling a crowd. It must be quite hard.
If she was really that stupid - I doubt she'd be presenting a top show like Xfactor.. and I don't see what hair colour has to do with things.

She's not a natural, but she works very hard.
