I could ask this on some other forum, but since you lot are such a lovely bunch Im gonna ask here. Is a gas oven more or less ecenomical than an electric oven ? Just wondering because I have an electric at the moment and am looking to buy a new oven. I dont like cooking with electric anyway.

Not sure about efficiency but I tend to prefer electric fan ovens but for hobs I prefer gas

I would imagine gas to be more economical than electric but the real question to ask yourself is " which would I be happier using" and buy that ...I have a gas hob/electric oven but would prefer both to be gas ..
